interesting note....
netarchy 4.2 cfs no havs and myn's has been the fisrtt kernel/sense rom combo that I have been able to max overclock out at 1290...and it's stable
been running for 12 hours no reboots etc.

Where can I download this Kernel? I don't see it listed.
None of the 4.2 kernels are available now since 4.2.1 was released. I really doubt you'd see much of a difference between 4.2 cfs nohavs and 4.2.1 cfs nohavs. If you really want it that badly, though, I do happen to have it somewhere.
After making the change to Myns rom from Fresh i noticed i was getting horrible battery life from the stock #17 kernal so I decided to try the NA kernal that myn recommended and noticed slightly better battery life. I wasnt satisfied with it so i decided to copy Mr. Ed's set up and was amazed... Yesterday i had 17:59:14 up time with 4:00:13 awake time by the time i went to sleep with 8% still remaining.
I am just trying to find the right combination because so far, I haven't had the best battery life.
So far the NA no havs has been working the best for me. I haven't charged my phone since 12pm with heavy use and I'm at 39%. I have my min/Max CPU set to 245/1152 and a screen off profile set for 245/245. Love this setup. Thanks for all help guys!
Sorry guys..not ignoring everyone, I have been organizing two years worth of haphazardly stored music, pictures and files on the new laptop

I'm currently trying netarchy 4.2.1. cfs less aggressive w/ havs w/ no profiles set in setCPU, and I've got to say Mr. Ed.....I'm getting better battery life w/ this kernel. I have 31 hours unplugged and I'm at 49% battery still w/ juice plotter saying I have about 18 hours left. Have you tried this kernel at all?
LoL! Do you have an external hard drive?? Makes life a whole easier in those situations.![]()
Do the kernels contain the cell radio code? Are there certain kernels that get better signal than others?
The issue is not that I don't have one...it's that I have six. I have had major issues with the previous laptop. Two years old and Best Buy black tie had worked on it five times. Each time I took it in I grabbed whichever hard drive was closets and threw everything on it.
They finally replaced it..and now I am consolidating everything onto the new laptop (which rocks...cost me $30 yay blacktie) and creating two dedicated backup locations
I am glad everyone is enjoying netarchy's kernel and Mynn's. Guys don't forget..when you find something you enjoy...be sure to support that developer with something! There isn't a minimum donation to show these guys a little appreciation for what they do. No, they don't require it but still...they don't have to do it either. These guys do this in their spare time and I would love to see them continue to do it!
I'm testing 4.2.1 now, no clue what ondemand vs smartass does though
