Root [Boost Mobile] [ACS] One Click Root for Warp.

so your saying that you used the boost mobile zte warp online updater tool to get the latest updates to your phone then you tried to root it and it didnt work?

Well this is certainly something to be noted. Thank's for letting us know. Now I know not to upgrade my phone as soon as I get it!

upgrade fixes all the restart problems in the software but now we need a new root prossess..... Please help!!! it just wont detect the phone now.. i know someone could fix this

mine rooted just fine after updating to B08 so i doubt the update broke root. it might be something to do with your drivers rather.... uninstall them then re-install and see if it works then. and be sure you have the phone plugged into a motherboard mounted USB slot, and not one in the front. sometimes the PC wont read it properly if you do.

The Drivers were being shitty!, Thanks worked great,, Good update also, runs way smoother now

was thinking about buying the warp..and maybe switching from prevail..now that i see it can be rooted and progress is being made
: )

Performed the update to B08 this morning using the ZTE Warp Update tool. No issues encountered and was able to root my phone again and install from backup all my apps.

interdepth (or somebody else), can you please expand on the following from the original post in this thread?

Screw you Boost and you're not wanting us to logcat the regular way

I was trying to resolve a problem with a developer and he asked me to look at the logcat file. I looked in /dev/log and discovered nothing but zero-byte files for events, main, radio and system.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

I updated superuser to 3.0.3 and lost my root ... :(

I try re-rooting but adb does not find the ZTE anymore, as if it would not be connected.

I tried getting the original SU from the WarpFile.zip file to the phone but of course it will not install. I can neither uninstall the new SU. How can I re-root?

Anybody else running on SU 3.0.3 and still rooted? Thanks guys.
Had the same issue here what fixed it for me
settings- applications-manage applications-super user, clear data. exit that open super user app them menu- preferences - automatic responce select allow. now all my apps work and have root access.

update keeps failing for me, I am rooted, any of you rooted before the update and have it work?
i was rooted before update, updated while still rooted to B08, rooted phone again after update all working fine. you did not say how you were updating weather OTA or via PC, if OTA make sure Wi-Fi is turned off first.

I am having the same problem as natasdaisy2 so how do i (,It almost looks like you're not running the root tool from the right directly. Unzip it, open a DOS shell, change to the directory where it's unzipped, and run it from the command line there).how do i do this?

If your running windows 7 do this. Unzip the warpdrive folder directly to your C:\ drive. Then click start and in that little search thing type cmd and press enter. Right click the command and choose run as administrator. A black window with a prompt will open. type cd c:\warpdrive\ in the command line and press enter. Then type warpdrive.bat and enter then it should run.

I really dont remember if the folder was called warpdrive and Im not on my home pc. But I think thats right.

it is correct but remind you on windows 7 you can simply right click and hit run as administrator on any batch script file

I have tried everything you all have said and I still can't get mines to root...I know I am not a ****** but can someone please help me!!!

I am ready to throw phone and laptop out of the window!!!

I have a ZTE warp!

My zte fails to root. I installed the update using the zte website.

Plugged usb cable into back of pc, Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium.

Here's the output of WarpDrive, doesn't look like it can see the phone at all:
