Root [Boost Mobile] Build.prop speed tweaks [Updated Mar 12th]

This new build.prop that i edited actually speeds up your phone from somewhere to 20-30 percent and also reduce lags. Its very easy to install the new build.prop please follow the directions below.

Instructions

￭ Place the downloaded "build.prop" on your SD card

￭ Use a root explorer or a file explorer than can edit system files

￭ Copy the downloaded "build.prop" file

￭ Navigate to /system

￭ Place the new "build.prop" file in /system

￭ it will ask to overwrite the existing one please select yes

￭ Once done copying reboot the device



You should see some difference with speed, media performance, and less lag on your Warp.

What it would be good is to get good 3G signal everywhere I'll try this out to see.....:cool:
 
Just installed and rebooted twice...I can definetely use a boost in my 3G especially at work...thanks
 
So how bout 4g!? I'm sure all it takes is a little line or two in the build.prop, screw the phones transmitters, you can get us 4g right? =) ;)

hahah i wish it was that simple.

Impossible in so many ways that you dont even know. Its not as simple as a little line to make your phone 4g. To have 4g capability you would first need a 4g chip installed on your phone, re do the entire ROM for 4g compatibility with apps web etc. Not to mention the biggest thing you need in the book to have 4g is
4G Towers lol sprint just started building there 4g LTE towers. it will be quite a while before they even have 1 tower for 4g up and running.

lol so nope thats a big no no, you cant make a 3g phone into a 4g phone

So I noticed that at least some of the old settings are still there, such as the stagefright settings. Shouldn't those be replaced with the new ones?

something is wrong with the 0.6 version.
it makes 3g worst. well at least on mines.
 
I followed the instuctions to install build prop. Version 6,inside system file i can see build text,but the original build prop still looks the same.is that supose to be like that??

What do you mean by still looks the same? It will have th same text but with a couple added lines
 
This bricked my phone, I followed the instructions and rebooted. It showed the boost mobile logo and then blank screen but lcd is on. Help???
 
I used ES File Explorer, being free and giving me access to Dropbox, other phones (bluetooth) and all.

Also, just reporting in to say I've installed your tweaks and, sadly, haven't noticed anything particularly interesting; touchscreen responsiveness may have improved (placebo effect?) and the device has still been rebooting unlike clockwork :p Otherwise, your work looks legit. Keep it up, and I'll keep testing.

Running B08 on a rooted ZTE can I still use the version 6 or do you have one out for the B08 don't want to mess up my phone !! Thank You for all the hard work on helping us get the best out of our phones ....any news on an update to IC yet ???

Shouldnt really affect it if your running on B08 but if you do switch the build.prop in settings under about phone it will list bo8c as your version even though its not.
 
Iam running your rom,i was wondering if it has your build.prop tweak? And if not couldnt i add this,and i like your rom good job
