Right, doesn't always work but often it can. It's more or less trial and error, and varies by geographical location. Always has worked for me. :D Plus it's so easy to do, makes it worth trying.
 
I guess it depends on the city, I live in Houston Texas and I've never had any issue with signal anywhere here, always full bars everywhere I go :D except at home where there seems to be a 300 foot long circular hole in our signal despite the fact that there's a cell tower literally across the street from my apartments -_____-
 
I'm thinking we may not want to run sawp on this build. It seems to actually slow the system down.

Dizzel seems to agree and he bought us 2k on the bench

I never have had good luck with swap, not on noob, not on ct, not on any rom. I'm using it right now with ct and any rom I have ever ran with swap has always started having lag issues at some point throughout the day.

I have never experienced this on my rom or on dizzles rom using zram. They always have ran super snappy for days on end for me. I just don't use extreme settings.

I'll give lidroid toggles a shot tonight... I'm gonna do it for voltron so its gonna have the voltron status bar but skinnyjeans21 can fix that later.. :p
 
I'll port my new theme then we can look for bugs or problems with aesthetics, I know the battery icon is one for sure, it's been bugging me a ton
 
no thats not true... if you plug usb theres a bug and you cant use mass storage... as far as i know...

Just tested it... it was the case for b08c and unfortunately is still the case for b10.... toggles will have to be added to the pmib07 systemui.apk... :(
 
Did anyone let Doc know about the 8k benchmark? Spectacular work so far! Big fan of your guys' work and just went through this entire thread tonight. Can't wait to see the finished product! Keep up the grueling, hard, rewarding work! Also, LilBit, I noticed that in one of your tests, Performance-SIO, your RAM was super low comparative to your other tests. Should I flash and benchmark? I've only got a class 1 2g sd card though XD
 
Ok. Pluming disaster 80% taken care of. I should be able to get back to work on this in a day or two. I'm going to tryout zram on this thing and see what we get.
