Root [Boost Mobile] Let's Start A Team ROM!?

So oddly enough, I benched the warp oem last night to get an idea of how my sd card performed...I got read speeds of 4 mb/s and write speeds...of 51.2 mb/s? I'll flash the rom tonight and see how it goes!
 
Im running A3 through thebpaces now. So far i tried to correct the power menu. Im closer lol. Off is on and on is off for the sound. I am also pretty sure i have ported over the systemui from halo. We now have toggles and swipe to clear. I am up loading to my dropbox now and should have a link up in the morning. If someone confirms that usb mass storage is working then its on to skinny and/or Dizzle for theme work. Once thats done we should be ready for the first beta
 
As soon as it's posted, I will test it, sceernies and all!!

Here's alpha3. Quickpanel and tether options have been added to settings. I've attempted to port the systemui from halo, but cannot confirm USB storage works. Swipe to clear and toggles do function. Ill have the power menu 100% on the next go around

I have the version Dizzle posted with his tweaks on my dev unit; will verify UMS now.

Edit version 2.0... now with extra gee-whizziness:
I see now you meant alpha 3, so I tested that too. UMS works great. I think we have a winner!


Guess I better get that boot animation done! :eek: lol

hey jim the cpu speed apk is it available on google play? will it update?
 
in cwm, installing from zip makes the progress bar go a decent way beyond 100%...minor problem, not sure which end it's on. thought you should know! I like the silver android logo at boot. Boots well, stability is nice. Good signal, 3 bars, normally 2 exactly where I am sitting. USB storage works! 16.4 FPS on 3D test! WOoOo!

EDIT: it looks like WOEM cpu speed. Tethering also works. Wifi is grand.

the progress bar install is me and it's only in cwm because of the edits i did to the update script... don't worry about that it's not harmful... ;)
 
thought something was off ;) Glad to hear it's not bad! (Just didn't really know if you knew about it) about to run a benchmark at 1.8 perf-deadline. results in a minute!
 
Here they are! First two images are at 1.4 GHz, second two are 1.8 GHz, not much running except core stuff, ADW launcher, messaging, wifi, and cell stuff. All considered, Spectacular so far!

Fantastic. I hate trying to fix things I cannot test. Glad it works
 
sometimes the drop menu will stop going back up about halfway there, and stays that way until lock/unlocking phone. rom bug? Anyway, this is the best rom yet, even in alpha as far as i can tell. Keep up the good fight! :D

I'll begin adding my theme to this in about 3 hours when I get home from work, I'm off early so I should be able to do this and get the Voltron ROM users their theme by tonight with any luck. Anything I shouldn't touch on this alpha?
