Root [Boost Mobile] Let's Start A Team ROM!?

If this works, I will brutally chop your head off your shoulders and feed it to you..

I don't know if it was me or not(probably me...) but i noticed that mms sent on public mobile... the picture never got to the recipient but basically what that tells me is that the mms apk from public must have gotten mixed up in there but not the apns-conf... so I played it safe and did the reverse unification portal again(minus the custom config and customize folders)...

Dizzle, If you chop off my head(brutally or not), i will be dead. I will no longer need sustenance and could not be fed my own head(or anything for that matter). I just wouldn't work... :p

You know, I was thinking the same thing! How do you feed... a head... to itself?? Geez, Diz, at least wait until we're done with the ROM to brutally murder us! :p

Personally, I'd say no. It always seemed a little out-of-place to me, but again... this's just my opinion lol

Whenever you get the new alpha done shoot me a link and I'll add the boot screen and the ad blocking.

And speaking of Diz, didn't he say something about giving someone some additional tweaks which pushed their performance up to over 8,000 in Antutu? Shall we include these also?
 
Yes and Yes. PM me when the theming is done and I will start doing my part to push scores over the edge once more.

Actually the theming is gonna take a while, I always forget how difficult porting my theme throughout different roms is. I'll need to modify some images and remove others so as to not add on to the size of the rom any more than it needs to. I'll notify you guys when I'm done fixing everything so I can do a final port. And I'm working on Halo ROM (I'm thinking Halo Jelly ROM... or Ice Cream Halo...) so it's putting me back, & I also got a full time job, I have tax papers to do, then marching band, auditions... it's gonna be a while. Sorry guys, real like sucks sometimes.

I noticed the other tweaks only boosted the GPU (which is great!) but can anything be done about the other aspects of the system? Things like RAM, CPU, etc...


RAM, Yes. CPU Possibly. Triple Frame Buffer could be added to the kernel ( If it isn't already there of course ) and that would boost the UI performance as well as 2D performance in general. But as far as CPU goes I don't see those scores increasing much more without increasing clock speed which at this point isn't really an option anymore. For RAM I know of plenty services that could be disabled and with them not always running it should* increase RAM scores because they are not being processed which in theory may or may not increase CPU scores as well. I will start putting the finishing touches when all the theming is done.

So another 6 months to a year should be fine skinny, The remaining warp users evidentially aren't going anywhere we have been here for like 2 years now..

Cool, I'm (somewhat) fairly certain triple buffering is supported in the kernel. When I was debugging the removed FPS cap in WOEM, I enabled it through build.prop and it seemed to help things out slightly... not sure though. It could've been all in my head lol

I was looking at background services to stop, but I didn't see any dramatic performance gains - maybe only a few hundred Antutu points total. I figure that's not worth the possibility of lost functionality from disabling stuff I'm not sure if we need anyway. But hey, if you know which ones can safely get axed, let's go for it! :)

Wasn't talking about background processes, and as far as I know triple buffering can't be enabled through the kernel.
