Root [Boost Mobile] Let's Start A Team ROM!?

What's the current "recommended"version of alliance and the most stable? I like it a lot and it's there any major issues besides MMS which I don't use anyway? The only thing I don't like are the keyboard and the launcher but I can install Swype which I use and the Xperia home launcher so no biggie. The rest is really nice and especially the performance and boot time. I can't get the adreno tweaks to work in ctmod and I game a lot. On a side note, what version of the tweak did you guys use? I've been trying 0.6 to no avail. But I'd like to be part of the testing team and and I use my warp many hours a day for many things so if there are bugs I bet I'd find them.

3.1 is the cleanest at the moment. :)
 
Overscan? Dunno what that is but I doubt it considering my laptop is a core i3 entertainment laptop that runs dead space 3 with zero lag :) and my desktop is dual core... I think I'll use that to build my roms now that I think about it.... just had an idea for the theming :D

Overscan issues usually happen on cheaper quality lcd screens(mostly tvs) so you wouldnt have that issue on a laptop but like for me, my computer screen is a 32 in lcd tv(china special)... so when i set up windows i use the nvidia control center to resize my desktop.... but the geniuses over at nvidia decided to remove the resize option from the newer linux nvidia software.... so its a pain... and although I use mint on my netbook, on my desktop i use ubuntu because it is easier to set up the desktop size...
 
I used to run mint versions 6 through 9. I never really cared for Ubuntu. I eventually rounded my way back to where I started with debian
 
You can still use debian desktops on Ubuntu. I use Gnome on another laptop with Ubuntu underneath it!! :D

I started out with Mandriva.... that was my first distro... the only one i could ever make a usb installation from(Not a live usb).. I still carry that Mandriva install in my pocket all the time... it has saved my butt countless times! :) I'll take deb over rpm any day tho....


But seriously tho... lets get mms working on this beast! :)
 
I need a job with less hours.... just 4 more weeks then I'll be able to help out with this rom a lot more, since I'll have more time.
If anyone would like to help, I could really use some. I'll give whoever the files, and I'll walk through the xml and smali edits too. I think it just may be my laptop, I'll get ubuntu loaded up and try to see if it'll help me any, but I'm not gonna have time anytime soon to do this all (last year of high school sucks sometimes).

If anyone at all would like to help, it would be greatly appreciated. Anyone at all...? Please?

Hey no stress man we still have ways to go before theming... do your thing and theme it up in 4 weeks... :)
