Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] DroidSmith 1.7.3 Update and Full

I wouldn't call it a landmark yet, but I'm at 25.5 hours of up time with business and personal use so far. A long way to go to get to that week I am hoping for

Good luck man! My best so far is 4.5 days with no reboot or crash on alliance 3.1 and I shut it down to go into recovery; so it would have lasted longer. This basically proves that most of the warps quirks were software related, not hardware. I know you've got the skills to make it happen!

A little over 45 hours in and I drop my phone, and of course the battery pops out lol. No major issues although the phone did slow down a time or two. I'm thinking I can resolve that with adjusting the lmk a little. I know that reverting to a conventional swap file would take care of it, but I'd rather not since zram produces less wear and tear on the device.

Woo hoo. I just got my new to me warp. ADB works I can hear people again, and in general the phone feels more responsive. I think I might try my stability test again.

Thought it was cuz it was ported by xda guys? Never saw it on market lol. I have the latest one if you want. You can find through Google easy too.

Thank you. I found it and have been running it. I like it so much that I was planning to build zip, so xperia can be flashed to droidsmith.

Ill build it and post an xperia pack for DS soon. I'm almost inclined to replace launcher 2 with it, but I'd rather keep options open

How do you remove labels from the bottom row of homepage icons? Mine automatically has "Dialer, Contacts, Messaging, Tools".

Settings button ->preferences -> appearance -> Show titles in dock bar (uncheck)

Dude your theme work is awesome jim, this is the first time I've really seen it. I've never flashed your rom but it looks wicked!

History Eraser app (Infolife) is throwing my phone for a loop. ROM doesn't like it and bogs down and sometimes reboots.

I've played around with History Eraser and Task Killer...and for whatever reason my phone on DS can't handle these apps. Today it rebooted and stuck on the green fire boot-up screen twice. Had to pull the battery. Also flashed WarpOEM rom and tried same thing without much better results. Something about these custom roms that doesn't work well with these types of apps as well as "manage applications" function in settings. Is it just me?

For some unexplained reason the issue with applications manager is due to the zram script. I have retooled it for DS in 1.7.1. I plan in creating another update for 1.7.2. This will delete zram and revert to a standard swapfile. If you are experiencing reboot you may just want to delete the zram script for the time being. I have from my warp, and haven't had any issues.

Hey dude, I gotta hand it to ya, that Experia pack goes real well with this rom. Sweet:smokingsomb:

I'm liking Xperia also.

So delete zram within File Explorer and that's all?

Updated to 1.7.2. There is an update and full install available. I reverted back to a standard swap file. To many issues started popping up with zram, and DS is supposed to be stable darn it.
