Yeah, I had to remove it because it was causing issues with the gapps package, if you flash gapps in a rom with phonesky.apk pre-installed then the Market in the gapps messes with the Play Store, and what happens is that every time you reboot the Market updates get uninstalled. I'll make a set of flashables with add-ons for people who just want the Play Store and not the rest of the gapps, and a set of emoticon changers too as well as the minimal theme from the original Halo rom.

Well, besides a few kinks in this rom (LMT Pie Launcher is the only thing I'm having issues with right now, input requested from anyone running this rom... is LMT working for anyone else? If it is then I'll have to get a new phone...), I think its at a point where it can stand without updates for a bit. That said, I can work on the Alliance & Voltron ROM theming for a bit, and for this rom, go check out my old thread, check in Downloads>Lil'Add-Ons and if y'all want I can add the add-ons into this rom as well...
[THEME] Touch of Ice Cream Jelly W/ Optional Emoticon Packs

4.2 Halo is really smooth but only the problem is play store is it going to fix ur next update bcz i always wait ur update whats new coming bcz ur rom is more stylish then others i like

You have to flash gapps for gingerbread to get the play store, I don't think its supposed to be pre loaded into our roms anyways because of copyright infringement

I think I'll make a flashable for those who only want the Play Store, in fact I may add it back in for the next update after a bit of testing. I'll also try to JB theme more of the system apps like the calendar...

notification no clear button

Clear button doesn't show for me with or without notifications. There are 3 offset lines where it should be but they do function as a clear button when tapped.

Here is the gapps package, just flash on top of the rom and you'll get the old market, and then it'll update itself to the latest Play Store after a few minutes :)

How do you get rid of these?

Actually, I removed the text that says "Clear" in strings.xml of the SystemUI.apk because otherwise it'll show up behind the offset lines and it looks bad imo. So it IS "supposed" to, but it doesn't. In fact, now the clear button can be customized since its just a set of 3 images now. And its GenieWidget.apk, Talk.apk, and CarHomeGoogle.apk. I'll just add play store back in so gapps isn't needed for those that only use that. Update coming soon.

Uninstalled those 3 apps.

Yeah, having Play Store in there is really helpful for noobs like me. Especially since I restore apps with Nandroid Manager. I didn't know what to do until you explained the issue with gapps and posted the download.

Yeah sorry for removing Play Store, I'm adding it right back in as we speak, also I themed the Calendar app a bit, and I'm working on getting a few more theme modifications into this rom. You'll be able to flash without wiping data and without issues on top of 4.2 just like the last update. I should be finished in about 45 minutes, so stay posted.

EDIT: All apps updated to latest versions as well
EDIT2: Added ics/jb spinners, check this out:

Then added a smoothness tweak so the spinners would be waaay smoother, about to test this out myself so just a few more minutes....

I still have the Local app (leftover from gapps, I suppose). Is it safe to remove? If so, what is the file name?

That app is tied to Maps. Besides nothing from the /system directory would be left there after flashing the update since I have the rom set up to format system.

Is this 4.3 or 4.2.2 or 4.2.1 or 4.1.2? Im sorry to ask this but im debating what phone should i get and its between the praveil 2 and zte sequent ...

This rom for the original Warp is version 4.3, but the Android Version is 2.3.5. Its a heavily modded Gingerbread ROM that's got tons of Jelly Bean-like theming implemented :D

Oh and personally, I'd go for the Warp Sequent, since its got a bigger screen, and because it has root with some great developers over on their All Things Root subforum :) the Prevail 2 doesn't even have root or a custom recovery yet.

Hope this helps :)

Battery life is actually pretty good, at least for me, but not after first flash since the phone is going through tons of processes to get things set up. First boot takes what seems to be forever though, but after that it boots up in a decent amount of time. I'm looking at tweaks to shorten the startup time significantly however :D

EDIT: Forgot to mention, boot times vary from Warp to Warp, since while the phone is booting it has to load all the installed apps, and I have about 60-70 apps on my phone so loading all that up takes me about 1 min-1 min 20 sec to boot. On CyanogenMod, my second boot was a few seconds because I never loaded it with apps, I kept it barebones without any apps or any gapps. So if you flash, boot, wait a few minutes, restart, you'll notice the second boot is very fast. However, I should add that I started my Warp and my moms total stock Warp at the same time (she has no apps at all on it so its as close to out-of-the-box as it'll get, whereas mine is LOADED with apps), and mine finished booting a mere 2 seconds after hers. So I've never timed a second boot without all my apps being loaded in since I always load everything after my first boot. I should test it though just to see how long a second boot really takes.
