Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] HaloBean 9 FINAL (SkinnyHALO Included)

Some mods I made:
- SU replaced by open-source superuser: Go to "Play Store", search by "superuser", then install CLOCKWORKMOD version, open it, update bin, uninstall SU using "Chefs Freezer" or TB, go to recovery and wipe cache & dalvik.
- Changed "Empty App" MinFree value from 96 to 128 (didn't touch the other values): Installed "MinFreeManager" from Play Store, made that change, pressed Menu\Apply and then "Apply at Boot", then use a root file manager like ES to reach "/system/etc/init.d", long-press over 00zRam, then press "More\Open as\Text\ES Note Editor", then add # at the begining of the line that end in "...minfree;", press back to save, reboot. If all was ok when you open MinFreeManager will find 128 in Empty App.
- Flashlight replaced by "LED Light" (free with no adds from Play Store).

Halo Jelly is working perfect, super responsive and issue free.

I was thinking of replacing flashlight for 2.00 but other flashlight apps arent as bright as the one that comes with the rom. Plus, since adaway is installed, ads wouldn't be much of a problem anyways assuming you wen't in and updated the hosts file, I'm probably gonna swap adaway out with a hosts file that'll come preinstalled into the rom like WOEM does with MOAB. As for the superuser app, I'm in the process of swapping it out right now. And that empty app thing you mentioned... great minds think alike! :D I was looking at new values right now, so next update should make the rom a little bit faster
 
Hey skinny this rom is kicking some serious butt, can't keep up with all these updates. I like to have clean installs so I end up wiping everything then installing the update.

By the way, like your avatar too, is that Uchiha Madara?

That's actually a good habit, you avoid most errors that way :D and glad to hear you're liking the rom!

And thanks, it is Madara :D I couldn't decide whether I wanted an avatar with his rinnegan or his eternal mangekyou sharingan showing off, so I went with rinnegan :D

That is a hard decision, personally I'm digging the mangekyou sharingan for show.
 
First boot was pretty quick did a Quadrant test maxed out at 60 Fps I think that's some kind of record. Anyway here is my screen shot.

Ninja Edit: I had a couple of apps installed during this test.

First boot was quick for you!? I really do need s new phone... and 60 fps?? You're kidding right?:eek: that's great! :D
 
If I get a new phone I'm getting the SGSII, so if this thing stops working then there goes the last update for the rom unless I use it as a dev unit..
 
I've added ad away for that reason, just open the app and download the hosts files, I'll apply a new hosts file so I can get rid of AdAway and trim down the rom zip a few more megs, right now its at 135MB and I'm trying to get it down to around 80-100MB
 
Also forgot to mention that for my benchmark I was running smartassv2 and sio max 1. 8 min was the lowest possible. Either way great ROM very fast. I just need to learn how to use LMT.

Lmt broke in one of the updates, try flashing my 1.99 update that one should have working lmt
 
So many updates !!!!!!!! I'm having an overload.

Quick question? I'm using sd maid & it says my phone isn't rooted but I have superuser
 
Yeah, theres something weird about the way our phones have root access, so this is an issue across all of our roms. I don't know why we get that "broken root" error...
 
Alright, so the HALO app from ParanoidAndroid... I can't port it to this rom. It uses jb api's so adding it to Gingerbread can't be done as far as I know.
