Candy Crush does not work in any performance rom or any very old ones. I did make it work on halo rom changing the governor but only for a short period.

It worked fine on the final version of noob. Then I reached the "end" of the game and removed it.

I tried every rom in the forums but not all their possible configurations.

Good luck!

Have been running your rom for about two hours now, going through every thing with out any issues, running really smooth, very happy with it. Coming over from noobVlll.ll, this is my 2nd rom, and both are very nice. The only thing that I found was that the titanium backup that was included in the rom did not have my backups not it. Last time I got titanium backup from the play store and every thing was there. Don`t know if it was an error on my part or other people have the same issue. Other than that great rom, will be using it as my main rom. Very happy.

Candy Crush worked on CTMOD. Haven't tried anywhere else.

Backups should be there in the SD card unless you wipe it.

I understand that no rom touches SD card and this one does not touch user data.

Right?
:D

That "Candy Crush" works flawless on DroidSmith and I think that's a "performance" rom.

1st issue I detected in HJ 4.3:
I flashed this rom and never dectected an issue until yesterday when made a trip of almost 250 miles, because I checked GPS and worked ok but in the real trip is different: Copilot GPS refreshed car position too slow so the car advanced 2 or 3 blocks and Copilot still showing the old position. I closed-reopen Copilot, restarted phone, even went recovery and wiped dalvik and cache but only got accurate gps using GPS Connected (free from Play Store), that app locks gps until manual unlock.

I think this could be a battery optimization thing and is good for that but bad for gps.

It sounds like a problem with the app not the rom, if one app works fine and the other doesn't then it couldn't be the rom.

What is with you people and Candy Crush!?

Anyways, it must be a governor and scheduler configuration issue. Actually, DS uses swap if I remember correctly and this rom uses zram...

I uninstalled Copilot then reinstalled it from Play Store and this time seems to be working ok. I restored it using TB when updated from HJ 4.2 to 4.3, so learned by hard way: some apps cannot be restored by TB, must be installed from Play Store then restored data only with TB.

... so HJ 4.3 is not guilty and still issues free:D

Sorry for taking so long today, I blacked out for like 4 hours... I need someone to test the new superuser while I test a new framework-res and figure out the whole spinner issue.

EDIT: This is the link to the Halo Jelly 4.4 Test. It has Open-Source Superuser by ClockworkMod. However, PLEASE make a FULL NANDROID before doing this because, if I didn't do it right, you could lose root; Due to the easy root method and the nandroid I'm asking you to make, everything will be alright in case of a root loss. This has the first of many fixes for the JB spinners, but for some reason the rom is using drawable-mdpi as well. I'm going to figure out either how to keep the spinners and remove the drawable-mdpi references or remove the spinners completely... I'll figure something out and try to keep the spinners, but if I can't then it is what it is.. for now.

:-( Not sure if it is just my phone - but whenever I try to update apps on my phone (Instagram, Facebook, & Facebook Messenger so far) I get an error message that says Package File is Invalid. Help!

No. But I will give that a try.

* Ok. That is done. I guess it may have been the app, not my phone because now it says the app isn't compatible with my device. *

Hmm... that sounds really weird... I got the app updates for my phone and they installed just fine (Fb, Messenger, and Instagram).

Has anyone been able to test the first 4.4 test? If it works I can upload a second test with the old ics/jb themed spinners instead of the actual one but with a smoothness fix and a new settings menu

That may be a factory Android thing; I've noticed it even on stock - way back when I was stock lol
