Now that I think about it I'm willing to bet that the issue with can't crush stems from how adblocking was implemented on your rom. The ad blocking in DS is all in the hosts file. I have not updated the hosts file in a long time since I haven't had any issues with ads

I was thinking of swapping out the adblock app with Mother of All Ad-Blocking just not right now as I'm new to switching out superuser and the appropriate binaries... its just the su file in /system/bin right? Or I think it was xbin
 
I am running HJ 4.3 in my 3 phones and it is 100% stable, but I replaced superuser for open-source version.

Only app found no compatible is SetCPU, even when I disabled S91voltctrl and S09sleepyhaloz, but We got very good performance and battery with the built-in scripts.

This rom is like a miracle for our warps:D
 
Oh yeah, delete S91colctrl and it should work. Speaking of O-S-SU, you think you can flash the test I made a few posts back? It has Open source su, but I can't go any further with this rom until someone can help me test it...

Xbin typically but it can be in bin. Just symlink to where its not

- nandroid (TWRP 2.2.2.1)
- Wiped cache, dalvik, factory, system (clean install)
- Flashed it (Install)
- Reboot System... (fingers crossed)
- Testing all I know: wifi, bluetooth, calls, gps, etc, everything working ok

open TB, asked superuser permission... granted, so open-source su is working perfect.
"Halo Jelly 4.4 test" can be named "Halo Jelly 4.4" :D (but is done because about\build number = Halo Jelly 4.4)

Crap the build number... sweet I got it! Just to stay on the safe side try out some more root enabled apps, then I can add in a new framework-res that I've been working on, keep the ics spinners but also keep the ics-like ones in drawable-mdpi until I come up with a fix.... almost done building then maybe a new power menu as well

I've never tried a wired headset with this ROM. I will test out and respond 2morrow. I have used my headset with NOOB. Could it be a busted mic?

I have the same thing going on, My headset only worked with a version of noob too.:dontknow:. Worked perfect on Stock!! Used it constantly.
 
I always thought it never worked on this phone, I'll check out what it could be and if its in the rom I'll try and give it a fix, if its in kernel then I'll talk to dm and Jim so they can add it... I still haven't figured out dual booting on my laptop to get Ubuntu and boot from USB is finicky so kernel stuff is a no go for me :(

Your wired headset that worked, was it an earpiece and mic all in one, or just an earpiece or headphones or something like that?
 
So I was working on the last part of the new build for 4.4... when my mom tells me she's gonna drop me off at band practice a bit early. Crap. Anyways I just gotta finish the settings menu then I'll upload it when I get home. I'll remove the dpi changer and activation from the menu, that's all that's left.

Blah something went wrong while I was removing Activation... I successfully removed the dpi changer though. If I don't have anything tonight it'll be up by tomorrow morning

Well I just found my headset and I can confirm that it works with this ROM.
My headset is a Samsung that must have come with a phone. It's one that works as a earbuds for a music player with an inline microphone and mute button.
