My bank app is setup so it has to be a verifyed install every time. Aka have to redownload it from there site every time I flash a new rom.

I've tried everything I know. Reinstalled numerous times. Read the stuff online about how people got Barclays app to work on rooted phones and poked around in file explorer. Hide root apps don't work...they aren't fooling Fidelity's app. Bottomline is latest version of Fidelity app won't allow rooted phones to login and they have cut off access for previous versions. So new phone in my future :rolleyes:
 
For my bank root hasn't been an issue... its stupid the app is on play store but it doesn't work... it has to be an authorized download from the banks mobile site. That's overkill imo
 
Sorry I haven't been on in days, been real busy with colleges... I'm going to the college I chose :D and hopefully I can get accepted to ITT Tech too :D

Anyways, I'm gonna work on mms in the rom because its the biggest issue, then I'll call it final and I'll give y'all a set of add-ons for the rom that I'll continue to work on. I'll probably pull this rom out of its "final" stage and give another big update.

Holy smokes you went out of control with this rom. Every time I come back to check it out, it's just ridiculously better and better.

Flashed it, proud to say this is probably the best GB rom I have used on any phone.
 
New test build coming up, with CrossBreeder Mod and an mms fix implemented as well as an updated busybox and other updated apps. I'll add to the testing section as soon as it uploads.

EDIT: Whup ran into an issue already... 162 megs on busybox alone, that's not gonna happen...
 
You go son! Like I said, going to hang here till I get my new phone. Kinda dissapointed with DM leaving. But I understand.

The hotfix fixed the capture a pic option, but still wont send.:(
 
Go SMS works with sending mms, I'm using that for now... I'm also gonna add in crossbreeder and I'm gonna modify the hosts file as well...

Maybe- it's a whole different ballgame with the S2. There are like 20 of the same stock rom with different selections of the same tweaks. People don't really give props for doing what we do on the warp. They have pretty much exhausted modding to the point where they have a separate thread to keep copycat roms from diluting source deved roms. It's a bunch of DM47021's running around there.

I think with the grip you have gotten doing this stuff here, your next logical step would be source building and learning to create your own mods, though there is ALOT of room for themeing, as all the stock themes suck. You could easily make money themeing the cm theme packages as they are universal for all AOKP and AOSP roms on the play store.

The only thing I have contributed so far is mms and data fixes in flash packages so people on boost, VM, and cricket can use android 4.3. We are about to have a bunch of 4.4 roms drop as well.

My new thing is learning about kernel development, and right now I am working purely on making different kernels in crunchbang linux. I think after I get that down I am going to try my hand at android kernel development.

Preach!!! Been trying to get this guy to start doing aosp for a while now... Not really his fault... His laptop no likey Linux... But still... -___-

Shut up >_> I got it on my desktop so I can at least learn about kernel... and I'm still reading those books >_< SO MANY WORDS but I've already started learning :D
 
Just to let you know Skinny, I have been on HB7 sense it was posted on the op, and everything works fine, mms, gps, and my 3g speeds are faster than they have ever been, almost as fast as wifi when I have a good signal. You have done a great job sir, and I agree with LilBit you have great potential ahead of you. Thanks for all your hard work.

Now on another note, I am leaving the Warp and going to the Slll in a few weeks, when I get the money, and I would like to donate my Warp to the community, to give back to those who gave to me. I replaced the digitizer, and the vibrator board, thanks to smartman, everything works and is in good shape. I will also send the wall, and car charger along if needed. I hope someone here will have a use for it.

This was my first smart phone and I learned a lot from all of you, so thank you to all of you, will miss you. THANKS.

If there isnt anyone who needs it, i wouldnt mind a second dev unit because then i could test multiple things... ive reworked the power menu but its still needing some work so with a faulty power menu its difficult to test other things at times. I say give it to who you deem needs it most either way :D

Dude. Are you serious?! My 3G is typically faster than my school wifi already...which is really really fast usually. Also, you have my thanks and admiration. This rom has come a very long, good ways thanks to your hard, grueling effort. I appreciate your effort!!
 
Ya, I think that I`m ready for a new phone, time for a change. Like I said it won`t be for a couple of weeks yet, unless there's some kind of set back, but your more than welcome to it Skinny unless someone else really needs it. As long as it goes to a home where it will be put to good use. I must say I will miss my Warp thou. I`ll let you know when I get my new phone.
