Try going to settings /apps and clearing the cache and data on the music app.

I figured that's what it probably was. I use that myself since I missed out on the tapatalk betas. I had only installed n00b long enough to test my theme flashing script...not that there's anything wrong with it (it's an excellent rom) I've just got my own wip lol ;)

Ok cool. now that you explain it, I'll keep it.

On a different note. Now my phone reboots every time I put it down. It's a quick reboot but, still weird.
 
Hi all I figured out what was causing the widget and shortcut loading problems with Holo Launcher. Sadly its none other than Autokiller Memory Optimizer. I absolutely love it so I'm pi$$ed that it has to go because it's the ONLY one I would use but oh well.

Update: It's the app when running it on the Ultimate setting. Went down a notch to Extreme and all is well so far. Happy I figured it out finally! Woohoo
 
Try Adw launcher with the ics theme it act's just like Holo but in my opinion better especially if you buy the paid version

I have actually been using ADW Launcher for the past week because of the widget issue I was encountering with Holo Launcher Plus (yep, I always buy the premium versions) and I bought the EX version of it a LOOONG time ago. ADW was the very first home replacement I ever used. It has become an awesome app since I last used it but I can't get battery drain to stop when using it now. SicFreak and I have been trying for over a week. I went ahead and just started over again with n00bVII and Holo and have been installing one app at a time while keeping an eye on battery drain and while trying my widgets and shortcuts when I found my widget culprit. Thanks for the advice! :D

Yes, adw burns through battery something fierce... And I've got an extended battery, when I can suit and watch it drain with an extended battery, it's too much.
 
I had to reinstall noob VII yesterday, wondering if anyone has the zip files for the black status bar and the circle battery, or at least a link. Looked everywhere but cant seem to find it.
 
Ever since discovering Autokiller Memory Optimizer running on Ultimate caused my issues I have to say that I'm running great on Holo Launcher Plus.
 
im not sure if anyone has said this already but sometimes it seems like it lags when i swipe away a notification but other then that its the best rom i've used so far

I find Holo does that everyonce and awhile, then I got a update not to long ago and its worked great since;)
 
Holy crap this ROM is awesome! Ive been loading it down with apps- Go Dev suite (launcher, dialer, sms, locker), Swype, facebook, gps mileage tracker, google voice, Congress, subsonic, multipicture live WP with picasa, and 1weather app + widget. Unbelievable! I can play subsonic, hit home, open facebook, close it, open text message and start typing with Swype. That much activity rebooted my last rom every time, but noob just keeps kickin'! THANK YOU!!!!
 
I am so so glad that this rom is flashable from stock. It's going to save me soo much time tomorrow :D
 
Does anyone else experience horrible lag when trying to make calls? I go to the dialer, and try to make a call pressing on the contact, and it take anywhere from 10 seconds to 1 minute or sometimes more before it tries to dial.

I've had that issue as well as countless others. I don't understand how you, myself, and my better half are the only ones having issues though. My girlfriend and I both get the red LED light of doom where it's a black screen and locked. Battery pull is the only solution. I think I've found the app that causes our problems, however, when I uninstall it I have RAM dump issues that causes lag so bad that the phones are unusable. So that brings me to my question for my fellow n00bers and especially MrBobo, respectfully... What, if any, app are you all using to keep RAM from dumping or at least controlled? I've been a firm believer in Autokiller Memory Optimizer but it doesn't get along with zram. It works great on all ROMs not running zram.

I heard that Autokiller Memory Optimizer and task managers aren't really good for android (please correct me if I'm wrong). I'm using the Glitch Kernel and MrBobo's zRam update 2 .zip file without those apps and I'm running fine :)
