opening update package...
assert failed: write_raw_image("/tmp/boot.img".
E:Error in /sdcard/wrap.zip
(Status 7)
Install aborted.

Nice job Anthony062991! Seems to work good with the recent changes you made. It's kinda hard to tell as my phone performed pretty good stock, but the OC does seem to make performance a bit snappier! Hopefully others will give it a shot and give it a more thorough test.

One question how fast is this being OC'd to?

EDIT: nvm i thought i saw 1.9 or 2.1 the other day when i had check this thread, good remain the speed at 1.4 if you plan to make it faster dont hit over 1.8 because most phones start to get really hot running at that speed possibly causing battery damaged.

Over nice to see that the Warp got overclocked good job:)

My benchmark was around that freshout box. All stock

Benchmarks do not mean anything these days.. Most of the time there not even accurate. All I added was a simple script to overclock the device. Maybe if I add in and i/o scheduler it will increase the benchmarks? I never use benchmarks so I have no idea how they even run to begin with. and plus It's only 400MHz faster than stock.

Yes you are correct! It is OC to 1.4GHz. Your phone should run a little faster and smoother.. I may go a little higher, but I will see how everyone likes this first..

May I request that you release a version without go launcher or task killer? I believe the philosophy that they do more harm than good and I have an aftermarket launcher of my own that I would like to put on there but I can't uninstall because its in the system?

Yes agree a task killer is not needed on android 2.3. This version of android is known to manage the RAM/apps running in the background. I personally believe its more of a battery killer. Snake download the launcher you want from the market and then install it. when finished download root un-installer from the market and install that as well. Make sure that the launcher you want is set as your default launcher then open the root un-installer app and scroll down to the name of the launcher you do not want tap on it and choose uninstall once done the only launcher that should be on your system is the one that you wanted.

For some odd reason this did not work on my phone. I wiped everything & some how it said installation aborted. I dont know if the download did not download correctly or i did something wrong. Which i doubt. I will download the file in a few minutes & test it out to see if its the download or my phone.

Edit 1 : Nvm im so dumb -.- i have to start reading instructions more carefully -____-
i didnt read this part lol

UNZIP wrap.zip copy it to clockworkmod/backup
(do not rename anything)

Note: unless you then convert the new launcher to a system app (root uninstaller can do this in the paid version by long pressing the app) a factory reset well result in boot loop as it delete /data and your downloaded apps are in /data/app.

you can also use a file explorer with SU and copy/paste it from /data/app to /system/app

No need to copy in both directorys! Just copy to system/app
