I still can't quite understand this, if you needed to downgrade, you would end up using a nandroid. So, essentially you'd want the boot.img and /system to make it b08. But when you would restore a nandroid of shinjitsu 1.5b, wouldn't you be restoring both of these? Maybe I'm missing something, and not that it really matters now. I still just don't see the necessity of flashing a backup twice :D
 
Is there a download link for version 1.5c? Am currently running b08c.. Should I downgrade before installing shin... Rom 1.5c? Thanks in advance for your help.

Noones complaining its in beta for a reason im sure he wants to know of these bugs so he can make his rom the #1 rom for the warp (even though it already is) my only issue with it is the whole i cant do wifi and 3g at the same time. i use wifi to get on the internet at my house, yet at the same time would like phone calls / texts to work. it seems like if i enable wifi i cannot use 3g but if i disable wifi my 3g is back in action

must be something with install i dont have that problem, im on wifi in the home and when i send mms messege then i see the 3g come up until the send is complete. both work correctly for me atleast.

i still dont get y it says shinjitsu rom 1.1c on my rom version.. i downloaded 1.5b 2times and installed it 2 times. so am i running 1.5b or 1.1? i know in one of the ops shin said sumthing bout forgetting to change the build name but i thought he fixed that? i just wanna make sure i got the latest one before i go over to his 1.5.1c to make sure it gets installed right. if sumone could plz clear up the confusion,i would really appreciate it. thx

Just curious because I'm keeping mental tabs. Are you using b08 or b08c?
 
well smooth,dont know who ur asking,but im running bo8 right now, was running bo8c but i wanted to see wat shins rom was all about, and do far its the best one i tried yet, cant wait for the finished 1.5.1c. just F. Y. I. lol

the latest one I know of and have installed/running is the one Shin labeled as intermediate. I'm assuming that its 1.5.1c and says as much on my phone. Where is this beta 2 located?

Hannah, the link for 1.5c should be on the first page. To know if;) you're run,ning. b08c, check unde. settings/phone information . You don't need to downgrade.
 
Hey Shin please place your updates in the sticky chronologically so the confusion doesn't get worse. I'm cool with it going in the thread as a reply but it appears the sticky should get updated along with. I'm starting to get confused LOL

I'll clean it up sorry for the confusion.

EDIT: Thanks to all of you who have supported my rom, And as a thank you i have gotten my rom Officially supported by UOT Kitchen to make themeing it easier :) i will let you know when support is posted by the dev. over at UOT

As for the issues experienced in the newest version, they are ALL kernel related and i am working on it. Slowly, but progress is being made. I will try to get a non OC kernel posted tonight for those that want it.
 
barnacle through my experience sucks. i use me phone almost daily as a hotspot try a different app, i know it works with this rom .

EDIT...... i use wireless tether for root users.
 
In regards to wifi tethering. WiFi Tether 3.1 beta14 works fine for me. In regards to the guy up above a few w/ his screenshots of the wp7 stuff, edit and rotate my man ;]
