I can see where on the surface it could appear that way but the MSM8655 processor, our particular model of the Snapdragon S2 (Scorpion), is also used in the Thunderbolt and Droid Incredible 2 and they have kernels out that run at 1.8GHz and 2.0GHz stable for up to 20 hours on a single charge. ZTE doesn't have the best of engineers if you ask me and why they recycle codes so horribly. Qualcomm is known for their processors and this is actually a very solid one. Just like cars they are typically under tuned to keep temps low, hence, why people can double their horsepower in the aftermarket world. Our OC from Shinru is definitely proven stable @ the speeds thus far acquired so it's all in the kernel. Now that we finally have a successful source code I'm sure we'll have a badazz phone with OC with NO bugs as soon as Shin and the other geniouses have time to do it. Hell, it's already pretty well polished compared to some ROM's I've seen on other people's "high-end" phones. I for one know that time is the commodity I NEVER have so I definitely understand that patience will prevail for us in the end. We have some very smart people in this community
and after seeing those other ROM's out there I'd put our guy's above the other guys any day! Right now I'll be sitting patiently for the non-oc update so I can get my stuff back and then I'll wait some more. LOL
