Not sure on the call volume. Ive never noticed any increase on dtm's kernels for call volume even on one he sent me that was supposed to be louider than the ones that are out.

But the flashlight works. I edited that for dm.

Yep, i really think that might have been a bad upload last night, With BFS 424 It definetly seems more snappy yet lol

so far so good, I edited the zip so it was just the kernel/lib files so I could do a true comparison using my ROM's default settings for zRam, readahead and voltage control. The antutu came out identically on n00b VII with the dev thread update zip applied compated to dtm's 1.8 kernel.

Both scores were 4252 (that's out of the box n00b VII update and zRam dev thread update). (sio/smartassv2, 1.6ghz)

So I can't say it's faster or better but so far it appears to be about the same as the kernel from dtm, at least according to antutu.

I noticed that after flashing the kernel when I connect to usb adb doesn't see the phone anymore. I have been using adb all day with the other kernel. It appears to have unchecked usb debugging, maybe that's normal when you flash a kernel, I never noticed it before.

Love the splash screen!

Right now I for got the name but its 1.8g I got 3 kernels zips I trying but went back to the 1.8g zip the others ran good but I think I got so much set ups on my phone it just keep messing up on me not the new kernels just cuz of my phone set ups

My last post was for you man am new to tapatalk lol but see I got 3 Ken zips

i think its normal, but at least it doesnt break it lol. that would be so bad

Far as being better, i cant say, dtm makes good stuff. ive learned alot from him. only thing i can say is play a game such as Angry Birds Star Wars HD and Alien excels in smoothness, or GTA3.
We just do things differently.

hey just to let you know, to enable adb at boot its in your ramdisk in the default.prop.. edit the ro.debuggable and persist.service.adb.enable lines to 1 instead of 0...

Mwhahahaha, what do you set volume to? The last change I made was +200. I'm ready to bust a speaker with +500 ;)

I set it to 0db. On the side I am a bit of an audio engineer. 0db is the maximum for digital audio before distortion. Since my rom has major audio enhancements it will make up floor the rest lol

This is true, but look at how 6v2 is set in 3.0.
0 is relative to where its programmed to. In mastering you could set 0 30db higher than the actual recording session, which for the most part is the reason most music these days sounds like garbage.
I understand the audio engineer perspective. I used to have an in-house studio setup back in the day. ;)

has the kernel been updated since I flashed it 2 days ago? Volume increased? should I flash it again?

Im not having much luck with kernel. Phone is lagy, and browser just stops running not force close just stops. Im sure its something ive done wrong since everyone else doesnt seem to be have any real issues

Ok I switched ROMs, fast now.......realy fast!
