Root [Boost Mobile] Warp Cream Sandwich Rom [Discontinued]

Should this rom move away from Ice Cream Sandwich and Towards Jelly Bean?

Lol... the reason i started is because I started messing around a java based game I used to play... I modified the games source code and molded it to fit the context of a book I read in english class for a project (I got an A!!!) :D... i got kinda good with reading and understanding java and then realized that android apps are java based... so I did some research on android as a whole and decided I wanted to make a rom... I wanted to make it ics themed because I love its aesthetics... and so wcs was born... lol

Jet install went with out any problems wnet back into CWM and restore all data. All apps came back with out any troulbe. Just zipping around to look at what you did and seen a few minor things you missed when themeing.

Under storage you missed themeing the -
TOTAL space
Available space

and half the words on the About Phone page in settings.


words in the blue colour you used on the others. I also noticed that on the pull down screen the CLEAR notice button is all white, after I hit it to clear them it went all black. Small things but easy to fix. I also had a update for the locker show up and it changed to the newest locker. Where you looking for us to have the old locker or the newer locker?

And if you do a restore data from CWM it brings back the BOOST Mobile on the lock screen. Which sucks, I hate having it on my screen. I liked it when it was not there. Is there a way to fix this again?

Now the long job of adding my icons back in again.

Can I take the frameswork.apk you sent me to get the background settings back again so I can change the background?

Thanks for the info... and the new framework has a custom background too... so just replace it with yours... its called mybackground... and i never removed the carrier label from the lockscreen... ill remove it in the next update

Hey no problem, I see that now it's at the bottom very small. I'll check for the back ground screen later. Oh and the lock screen is OK after I rebooted my phone for another update. Your ROM never stops getting better Jet. :thumbup::thumbup:

Yeah... i couldnt figure out how to remove it so I made it black... changed the font to extremely small... and made it transparent... its still there but it should be invisible... unless you change the status bars background color

OTA Support is now added in the Op... please downlaod and flash right away... If you try to use the app to update to V1.6.1 you will receive an md5 error... I will fix it in the morning and then you should be able to succesfully receive the update package and install... the first update will simply change the rom version from 1.6 to 1.6.1 so dont fret... you arent missing out on anything

Edit: V1.6.1 OTA is now live!!!:D:D:D:D:D... btw... for all of those who dont know what an ota update is... its and over the air update... meaning you can automagically download any new update I release from anywhere as long as you atleast have a 3g connection... and dont worry guys... all ota updates will be small... and will only add to the rom... not completely erase and install a new one... I will release small ota's and then upload the full rom and place a link the OP... as long as you only use the ota's you will get to keep all data

jetx2x, you did an OUTSTANDING job with this ROM. I am impressed with how much you've made it look like ICS. The look is clean and crisp and the performance is top notch without lags or pauses. There were a few minor things noted before, including the inability to check the box to get rid of the intro page in the Alarm Clock Plus app, but they are small things that are easily corrected in your OTA updates. Having the ability to do OTA updatea is another WONDERFUL perk of running this ROM. You've moved this rom from a score of 5 in your initial releases to a 9.3 in this release. That is FANTASTIC improvement and you should be very proud of your effort. Is your Paypal account active? I'm certainly going to drop you a small token of my appreciation for providing me with a GREAT ROM to run on my ZTE Warp. Thank you. :shakehands:

With apollo releasing his update tomorrow, I'll be faced with a very difficult decision of which ROM to make my daily one. Maybe I'll use nandroid to switch between them periodically. Oh, decisions, decisions, decisions. :D:smokingsomb::D

I really, really, really, really like this!!!!!!!

I remember working with a major financial institution in the late 1990's that was developing push and pull OTA updates for their internal applications. OTA has come a looooooonnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg way since then and your implementation is slick. It adds a feeling of professionalism to the entire ROM.

Did I say I really like this?

There's a white, unlabeled button in the upper right side if you have a notification to clear. It turns black if there are no notifications. :)
 
Swipe to clear or just use the grey button on the top right that doesn't have text

Im going to fix it the button later... its supposed to be a blue x... It'll be the first real ota I release
