Root [Boost Mobile] Working ROMS/MODS/KERNELS/MODEMS/ECT for the Boost S3

I'll check into then. I have never really needed anything other than DropBox to share files with friends. I guess when you share modded ROMs and stuff, that really pulls from the allotted amount that can be shared from a free account. I'll get it figured out.

I usually use MediaFire but they have such a small limit on the file size.

And they spam and popup the crap out of the end user. Afh is the best way to go.
 
Thanks for the info bro. I've had good luck with Photobucket in the past being able to actually share the video in a post. I'm uploading to it right now.

I also made a new video. I reviewed the video and it I just didn't like the little bit of cursing I did while making it. It's not how I usually ma and I didn't want people to think that way.

I also went a little more in depth with the tut. I hope that helps out any who choose to use it.

Also guys, please excuse the next video whcih is being uploaded right now. My battery was low and I tried to get a good bit of info in there before it died on me. I've reviewed the video and it's OK. It'll def get the job done. :)

Hopefully it'll be ready soon.

this video will show you how to remove the asserts from the sprint aosp based roms.... Cm11, aokp, slim, beanstalk, vanilla root box, etc....

1 The same question is being asked over and over now no one minds answering just make sure you read the original post I'm sure the question is already answered

2 When on cm 11 if you want lte flash the zip posted by me in the op in the asop section , also data and wifi are funky once you connect to wifi the data freezes so you download an app called rebooter turn wifi off and choose hotboot it restarts the ui fixing data before you would have to do a full reboot.

3 If you want mms over lte you'll have to use handcent it's the only one we found that works

4 If you don't have lte in your area you can use the app called apn backup and restore download the sprint apns in the asop area and you should have mms and data without the wifi issue that's how I believe wetbiker got it correct me man if I'm wrong

5 Always ask if your unsure just please read first I try to make things ask simple and noob proof no one wants to mess up there s3 and they could get confused by the off topic of cm 11 and tw roms in the same thread thinking they work the same or its even the same conversation

WICKED SENSATIONS HAS BEEN UPDATED TO 4.3 AND ADDED TO THE 4.3 ROM SECTION


ALSO, HIIIPOWERS..... CHOMPSMS ALSO HAS THE OPTION TO CHANGE THE MMSC AND PROXY. I'VE PERSONALLY USED IT TO CHANGE MINE OVER TO BOOST FROM SPRINT.

I just flashed it an hour ago. I like it a lot so far. All the Aroma Installer Morphology and Themes from 6.1 is gone. Worth taking a look at.

I might flash some other Roms this weekend but I will probably use this one next week when I go back to work.

It's gone that's tragic but I bet it's smooth as ever with probably a couple extra features It would be awesome if they added the asop lock screen with widgets

[Recovery] Flashable and the Latest - CWM 6.0.4.3 - TWRP 2.6.3.0 - Stock

This link also includes older version of these recoveries. People, the newest flashable recoveries are something you definitely want download and keep. They can come in handy!

I just flashed and am running TWRP 2.6.3.0. It's running flawlessly! :D

That version of TWRP was flawless for me as well. Unless something has changed, though, it is not compatible with 4.4.x, but it will flash 4.3.x just fine. The main thing I miss about TWRP now that I use Philz is the ability to name backups in advance of doing the backup instead of after. Trivial yes, but I do have OCD issues related to being a flashaholic! Version 2.6.3.1 is available, supposedly it will flash KitKat, but it was a disaster on my phone as nothing would mount and the touch screen responsiveness was almost nonexistent; I also read about plenty of other people having the same problem with that version. Thanks as always Biker for relentlessly maintaining this thread! Merry Christmas buddy!

I too was shocked to find the new version of TWRP working. Bro, I flashed it while still running 4.2.1 Wicked Sensations and it was working perfectly. I had to flash it last night when I flashed the new 4.3 Wicked Sensations ROM. It and the MK3 modem were requirements for flashing the ROM.

I just want to add that 4.3 Wicked Sensations is running great too!! :D

The ability to name the backups beforehand with TWRP is one of my favorite options too. :D
 
This is probably in the wrong forum but does anyone know if we can turn the phone upside down (where the microusb is on the top) and still get the screen to orient the right way. I have auto rotate on but the screen does not reorient itself when turned this way. The screen is upside down.

I'm almost certain CM has 180 screen rotation.
 
You're correct. Xposed framework offers that feature. Need the right module though. Several do it. Pretty sure Wanam and Xblast both do.

Bro, if it has to do with ROM or mod help with this phone, your questions are more than welcome in this thread.

It's actually a very good question too. I'm sure there are other members out there wondering the same thing. :thumbup:
