Root Bootloader petition to LG (spirit and motion)

www.shabbypenguin.com/OUDstuff/LG/spirit/Spriti-CWM-Test-1.lok.zip

flash it in 2nd init, motion people said on theirs they had pink graphics but it all works. im hoping teh same holds true for yall.

edit: til the reset flag is fixed anytime you go into or out of cwm youll get a factory reset :/

Well I entered though ROM manager (NOTE: IF YOU DOWNLOAD ROM MANAGER DONT USE ANYTHING BUT REBOOT INTO RECOVERY. YOU WILL PERMA-BRICK YOUR PHONE USING ANY OTHER OPTION, BECAUSE THE SPIRIT IS NOT A SUPPORTED DEVICE) I flashed a theme in the recovery and it worked just fine. We also get the pink graphics. I don't have much space on either memory so can someone test backups and restores. I don't have a PC I can backup all my storage to at the moment.

Edit: the capital print is for users who aren't familiar with ROM manager. Entering through the app itself though avoids the factory reset. I'll try another app though that less dangerous

you didnt factory reset?

Strange... We've always been told that if you use an app to boot to recovery you will factory reset.

So does this mean we can use this to get into recovery....

Edit: I use quick boot all the time, but only for reboot and shutdown.

If you feel safe doing it just booting into recovery through quick boot. Now that we have an unofficial recovery that's actually on the recovery partition it may not reset.

I just tried booting into it with the volume keys and power. When it says hit power to confirm reset I did, went into cwm, rebooted and I still have all my apps and files in my download folder. So I'm pretty sure it won't reset.

Quick question... Where are you guys seeing the pink graphics? Is it only in recovery or all throughout the rom?

Sorry haven't been able to test. Been lazy to restore my phone from bootloop. lol

prolly, hes n00b friendly. ;)
I guess the answer is no you wont be doing one. No prob. I'm willing to give it a try and do one for everyone...

But I keep getting this when I run it....
