Root BWC theme for .595

Bouchigo are you gonna make me beg and plead and throw myself on the ground kicking and screaming for this? I will if I have to. I know how to throw temper tantrums very well. My kids tought me....:p
 
I bet he is getting pretty tired of redoing the theme every two weeks when a new leak trickles our way.
 
I saw Bouchingo sitting in the corner of the root section covering his ears and shouting "I CAN'T HEEEEEEAR YOOOOOU!!! LA LA LA LA LAAAAAAAAAAA!" :p

If you've ever created or ported a theme you would understand. It is very time consuming. And every thing has to be ported over meticulously. The guy does enough for this community as it is. And you won't be on .595 for long. It wouldn't make sense for him to port it for .595 since the OTA is right around the corner. If you really need BWC theme revert back to a supported GB version. Not hating, just saying.
 
Oh I know it's a lot of work Aggie12. And I am one of those people that appreciate all the hard work that goes into themes, roms, etc. But you have to admit, he does good work. Why wouldn't he be in high demand?....lol.

But I think Steven is right. Bouchigo, please come out of that corner from the fetal position....:p
 
I went back to a fresh base of 595 rooted and deodexed. Took the plunge and tried it and thus far all works as expected:D:D. I am letting the apps install and and then I will play around with it to see if anything appears not to be functioning correctly without any force closes thus far. All thanks to the devoper I just tested it because all the white is just not working for me period lol lol...So just passing the information along to those who may want to take the plunge but were not sure of the method or if force closes were in their future for trying it lol lol....Have an awesome day...

Check Manage applications in Settings, it probably doesn't work.
 
Just to let you guys know, I'm glad you guys enjoy BWC, but I'm still on .591, and most likely will wait until the OTA to do anything, unless it's going to take a while to root the OTA, then I'll get on it.

I'm busy this whole weekend, and if the OTA really is coming some time between the 10th and 13th of this month, I don't want to do so much work twice so close together.

Sorry guys, but I hope you understand ;)

Yep mine works for managing applications...Was able to do all functions...May have just been a fluke but thus far I have not found a hiccup...This one and another theme are my favorites thus far as they are both basically black all over which is just how I like it...So between the 2 themes I will be good to go until they are both officially updated for the OTA

I'm really trying to understand. When you are on another build and you use a theme from a previous build (or the crt mod), doesn't it cause you to go back to the framework version that the theme was made on?

Yes it does, I don't recommend doing that.

yes, themes essentially replace all of the framework at once. But with GB now there is another 'framework' (bo can explain better) that is called systemui.apk that also holds a lot of UI information. All of which are build specific.

Yes the CRT Mod works just fine on 595..See the kinks below for a couple of themes that work just fine on 595 and a 595 CRT Mod but I think both of these have the CRT built in so you can check first before installling...Enjoy:):)

[THEME] Watermaked with a personal touch for 4.5.591 Says 591 but he has updated it for 595 as well...

[Theme] Stygian Black only for dx gingerbread
