Thanks fellow mogicians. I apreaciate all this courageous effort. This will be my last post in this community. Im moving on. HHopefully ill see you on the S4 side. And I apologize for puny contribution. My new motto is life happens and when it does kang it out. But not here. Asta la vista. Baby .ps f.y.i ill test any mods and kernals. Ima ask my cuzin if he needs a new phone if not ill donate. Just pay for shipping. Itll come with extended hyperion battery.

it looks like you have teh freqs there but its not actually ocing anything, sammyz antutu scores below my fake oc kernel, since mine is running at 1.5ghz and yours is supposed to be 1.8ghz...

looks like something is being left out and you and pg are gunna have to figure it out before either of you are going to be able to actually oc :(
 
Hmmm Weird. I did the same changes for the motion that I did for the spirit.

Spirit OC working 100%. Quad score jumped by 1000+. lol

Ok so lets wait till tonight when I'll post the Freedom kernel for the spirit with my git. Then others can look at source and we can all figure out how to get it working on motion.

I have a hunch, but nothing definitive just yet.

It seems that on the spirit min/max doesn't need to be specified, but on the motion it does. That's why it's not sticking on the motion even though the cpu OC freqs are there. I think I know where to look though.

By the way, what app did you use for overclocking because from your screens it seems you did not set the max with setcpu or no frills cpu.

Let me find out that you didn't bother to OC in the first place. :rolleyes: lol

Already downloaded app, the default was set at 1836MHz. Lol, I know how to overclock with an app, this ain't my first rodeo :p

Sheesh, so defensive. :p

I only asked cuz on the spirit by default it booted to 1.5 then I had to set it to the 1.8 with setcpu. And since in your screen I see the max 1.8 but didn't see an oc app I figured I should ask to be sure.

Welp so much for that. :rolleyes:

Alright. CPU overclock: check.
Now we just need to be able to overclock the GPU and disable v-sync and then benchmark scores well start skyrocketing.

BTW I get 14010 on my test with just CM10, so yeah. Defiantly something went wrong GameTheory :( thanks for trying though!

If you still have my kernel installed, with root explorer navigate to....

/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpuo/cpuinfo_max_freq and cpuinfo_cur_freq

Open those in text viewer and tell me what you see for each. Should be the same for cpu1.
 
There is no cpu current freq...but the max says 186...... But only in cpu0 not cpu1 cpu1 the file doesnt exist as well as alot of other files that exist for cpu0
