Root Can't active phone after root

Hi so i have the same problem i just bought a rooted optimus v with custom rom
I am trying to follow the same procedure you suggested witch apparently worked for the other guy however i was hopping you could break the proces down a littlebit further i already downloaded the Harmonia ROM but i have no clue where to go from there i would really appreciate it if u could help me out.
I have the cm7 rom
 
No problem. Go to your recovery, push power button until a window pops up then select reboot, then recovery. Once in the recovery go to backup and restore option,select backup. When done, follow the install procedure for a Froyo ROM. After activating phone follow the same procedure for wiping and fomatting that you did to install Harmonia. Then instead of flashing a new ROM, choose the restore option/select the date stamp. After install is done go to Reboot System Now. Don't worry about the wiper zip, thats mostly for a new install of a gingerbread ROM.

thank you for helping me so these instructions are really good im only having a couple of problems.
where exactly can i find the Froyo ROM install procedure
and when i follow step 9 it asks me for a "update wiper 1.3 zip" is this a different file that i have to download
sorry for the troubles but i really appreciate the help
 
The update wiper zip is really just needed for the Bumblebee ROM and the new IHO ROM's
In step 5 when you get done with the ROM install and it says "when done go to step 6" thats all that's needes for a Froyo install, Hence, Froyo install instructions.

Thanks for the imput, will edit the post to reflect your concerns.

Edit: edited post. See if this is easier to understand.
Don't forget to look in there for the wiper zip link.
