Root Can't delete Nandroid - Amon RA 2.3

First off, I want to thank all of the regulars and experts on here for all of the great info. I love my rooted EVO. It truly is a beast.
Now I had something weird happen with the Nandroids on my phone. I can copy them to my computer, however when I try to delete one from my phone, I get error messages about files that I can't delete. The file names of those files are all symbols and hieroglyphics...and they just won't delete.
Has any one seem this problem?

yeah i had one of my cm7 nandroids do that on me. i just copied everything i could on my card to my computer and left that nandroid on the card and re-formatted it. i then copied my file back to the card and i was good to go. so far no other issues on my card. not sure what happened though.
 
Thanks. It's more of just an annoyance at this point since the stuff left on the SD card is not taking up any space. I just relabeled the files as "trash" and will format the card if I get tired of seeing them on there.

I use ES File Explorer to delete any unwanted nandroids, roms, kernels.... Never had any trouble;)
 
I had this too once, weird, it eventually went away or I formatted to partition lol I don't remember. Still very odd to me
