Thanks for this update looks great! So did you end up using the "portrait" mount position with the disc?
I installed the soundgate and love the size of it but having a heck of a time getting the disc to stick to the back of the black and red gradient case. I let it sit for a few hours and worked for about 2 hours then popped off. I tried some outdoor double stick tape thinking that would hold even better but it only lasted taking the phone in and out twice. Thought bout superglue but the disc has to sit up a bit. If I can find something that holds this its a great setup. Any suggestions. Thanks
Ordered the XWAY from Thinkgeek on Thursday and got it on Friday! Something that I found is that it comes with FOUR mounting disks...one small disk, one medium disk, and two large disks. Also, one of the large disks has a thicker adhesive on it (probably for more difficult surfaces). I put the medium one on my Storm and kept the others for when I get the Incredible. Hopefully, I will be able to use the small disk on the Incredible.
BTW, the mount fits fine in my Pontiac Torrent. Not much ability to change the angle, but that's fine.
Here are some quick shots (running Trapster). I haven't gone for a drive with it yet, but I'll report back when I do. I drive almost daily down a pretty rough road. If it can handle that, it should be able to handle just about anything.Nice... PICS!!!!
Specifically, I have a Verizon silicone case and the adhesive holding the button attachment fell off. Fortunately the phone didn't go crashing onto the ground or anything because the wires held it up.Sadly, the excessive heat here in Florida caused my M2 to fall apart during my demo drive to show my brother how cool it wasSpecifically, I have a Verizon silicone case and the adhesive holding the button attachment fell off. Anyone know of a good adhesive that I can use to re-attach the button to the case? I have tried gorilla glue in the past (to my old bodyglove case) with no success. Is there some super duper double sided adhesive that sticks well in heat?
Thanks.

The Tetrax looks really cool but I'm not feeling the small magnet on the back of my case.
It will hold up to 3G's for rated kg's. Magnet will hold no problem.
I'm not questioning the hold. I'm just saying I don't want to glue a disc to the back of my case. Just a preference. Looking at the vent mounts.
Yeah, i agree, i want a vent mount for my incredible since i have yet to get a case and don't want some magnet on the back of it. but, it seems like that mount you found earlier is one of the only ones available, period.
BTW, the disks for the Tetrax mounts are not magnets. Also, BBs use magnets to put them into sleep mode when you put them in cases. If I pressed the magnet on the mount against the back of the Storm in just the right spot (towards the bottom of the Storm), I could get it to enter sleep mode. Otherwise, the magnet isn't strong enough to put it into sleep mode unless the magnet is placed on the front of the Storm.
Just some anecdotal information about the strength of the Tetrax magnets.

I'm thinking about a vent mount. What do you guys think of this mount? Gets good reviews and looks like the power plug will fit in.

Update on the M2 mount:
I had trouble getting the disc to stick to the phone and ended up using part of a phantom skinz on the phone, then putting the disc on that. It worked okay and gave me enough time to decide I really like the small size, stability, and design of the mount.
So, I ended up super-gluing the disc directly on the back of the phone. It's so small the phone still can be set camera side down no problem and it is the same matte black color, so it blends pretty well. Very happy with the M2 right now.
I have been using google maps to show my position as I drive around. It's nice as I'm new to my area. One thing would help though:
Is there any way to get google maps to show your position and have direction of travel always moving up the screen when you're not in nav mode?

Oh yeah, I drove a bumpy road this morning and the Tetrax mount had no problem holding onto my Storm.
