Yup, at least that's what I did.I can flash this zip via stock 4.4.4 recovery ?
It should not matter which custom recovery. I use cwm swipe. All I need is the system.ext4.tar.a and the boot.img from the backup so your installed apps do not matter at allI'll make a backup. [emoji1] First some questions though, do you prefer or need a certain recovery? Also, I've signed in to my account and download apps already. Would you prefer that I factory reset it and then make the backup?
Well that's good to hear, since I used philz recovery lol. It is backing up as we speak! Thanks for the answers though. It should not matter which custom recovery. I use cwm swipe. All I need is the system.ext4.tar.a and the boot.img from the backup so your installed apps do not matter at all![]()
Flashed via stock recovery from 'sd card'. Install went smooth. Had to disable bug2go and batterytracer apps right away because of lag. after getting rid of them its running buttery smooth with no hitches so far.
Oops. Haven't been using this in a while. But how did you manage to use the stock recovery? It doesn't work for me.
Yea, I noticed the lag too. I'm going to have try disabling them and see if I get the same results as you.Flashed via stock recovery from 'sd card'. Install went smooth. Seldom, the 4.4.4 I flashed back to is here under "Unmodified Stock KXB21.14-L1.57."
Hopefully you can flash it then lollipop
I honestly don't know what to tell you then. It's what worked for me.

Maybe you can try formatting the system partition through a custom recovery, then flashing the stock 4.4.4 rom and try it from there? It's all I could really think of at the moment...I had the same issue and that build did not work for myself, I still get the "/system/etc/install-recovery.sh" has unexpected contents error.
Oh, I tried formatting the system partition. Same error happened. I'm just gonna be waiting for Seraph08 to make something. Or SuperR or lost101. Whichever comes first, I suppose?Maybe you can try formatting the system partition through a custom recovery, then flashing the stock 4.4.4 rom and try it from there?
