Root [CDMA] Get ready for OTA's!

I found a very good option for silent mode. It is in GravityBox, but I think you need the paid version. Under "Ultimate notification control" you will find "Quiet hours". I enabled it and unchecked all the weekdays. Then I added Quiet hours to the "Statusbar QuickSetings tiles" under "Statusbar tweaks >> QuickSettings management". Now I just pull down the navbar and touch Quiet hours to get a perfect silent mode. Hope it helps :)

This worked for me.

Hey guys, just downloaded the official OTA, but im away from home so can't do anything with it right now. How's the official ROM working so far for you guys?

On another note idk if it means anything to u but I've installed cm12 nighties and numerous kernels, after i updated to the soak and flashed partion updater, just seeing which might let me overclock andi have always had that glitch when I first turned on my phone besides http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2786336 that one is the only kernel I tried that didn't get it at all but with that one WiFi was broke so went back to the optimus kernel maybe there's a fix in there u can isolate and use. I like lollipop and all but im still on cm12 without data but i always use wifi anyways so its no real loss for me and well stock lollipop is soso damn bright and overly colorful if it wasn't for cm12 themes like material dark I'd be still on kitkat

@inub cm is always preferred rom but it is still in beta stage. On soak test lollipop you can have themes with xposed , not like cm but scope of modify is vast. Also I flashed lollipop without updating partition tables only to keep a door open for going back to 4.4.4. For moto g boost I am yet to find perfect.custom ROM
Stock is too good for this mobile

Well the guys over at xda got data working on cm12 so hopefully there should be a working build coming

Working cm12 for moto g!!!!
The rom is here...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3036120
Per Meticulus...
"I'm not ready to post my changes... It's very "Hack and Slash" ATM but this is how I fixed it: Since we did not know the proper values for: subId, slotId, and phoneId. I just supposed that they should all be zero. Everywhere it asks for those values I just "return 0;". I also bypassed every validity check for those values. Then where ever it asked for "operator numeric" or "operator alpha" i had it read it from system property. Also, the Boost Mobile APN is marked disabled in the telephony database and SQL statement for retrieving APNs specified "enabled =1". I removed that part so it would search for APN's even if they were disabled. My patches are real dirty right now... Over the next few days, I'll work to clean them up... "

As relates to the flickering apparently its as SuperR said is kernel related. Apparently the kernel source was updated in the CM branch and the recovery/screen flicker is gone.
Do you have a link where to find the new glitch-free recovery? Have you tried backup/restore?

Throwing this out there, I'm ripping off Alberto's AOSP build for 5.1 the second there's a fix for CDMA. All credit goes to him already, but AOSP....aosp.
This would be the first pure AOSP Moto G rom? I know there's a lot of AOSP based 4.4.X roms but there's always features added and they end up code bloated and buggy. This will be a project I'll be watching closely. Thanks @Seraph08.
