It could be but I could of sworn that I have been on a call before and was still able to surf the net, and not talking about wifi, I could be wrong, that comes with old age, LOL

It's my understanding that the lack of simultaneous voice data over 3G is more due to the limitation of a CDMA carrier. There might be some software tweaks to get around it (buffering, etc). I know that when I'm running Google Nav, I can get a call and still use the Nav (I think I lose traffic data, though), but cannot be on call and START the app: It will state a data connection is needed. That's my experience anyway, but you know me; S-n00b!
