Yeah I can confirm. I must of broke it with my hacky fix for videos fix. I will look into it


Also, everyone is getting that unknown sender text with gibberish as the message? If so I know exactly how to did that

I'll admit that I didn't look at his previous posts in this thread specifically, so this may be an annoying reoccurring question. But in my pea-brain, I was wondering the exact thing that I thought he meant. If JMZ had said that MMS would be some monumental undertaking, then I'd probably just not worry about it and move on to CM 10. But if it would only take another day or two, then maybe he might as well finish it to make it all complete. I personally don't really care, as I'm just looking for a well developed stable rom, which I know eventually I'll have from him, no matter which route he decides to follow. Also, I was just feeling in a defensive/contradictory mood when I read your reply last night, so that's my bad ;)
 
So let me guess... I'm the only one that that can not get mms working with go SMS with the 8-25 rom and no matter which rom I have tried the camcorder never starts recording. I have format and wiped everything.

I Think with this rom, mms only works sending from Go SMS to Go SMS, you can't send a mms from Go SMS to someone with another messaging app or stock.

I got that unknown sender message JMZ, and the message WAS all jibberish.:confused:

Why would that be the case? That would make the existence of these third party messaging apps kinda useless. Or are you saying it's JUST this rom that this is true for?

Anthrax Kernel that the other guy claimed to make the camcorder work?
 
Camcorder works now. Nice. Is there anything else new in this release?

EDIT: Oh, and don't try to play a 3D video in this ROM. The weird thing is that it actually works (no idea why), but then the phone inevitably freezes and you have to do a battery pull to restart.

Dude, I know you want the devs to like you and all, but you need to just step back for a second and realize that every question asked isn't a criticism of the devs.

I don't think there's anything wrong with asking when something will be fixed.

The dev gives you a wrong date? Oh well, deal with it. Some people just want an idea of when they should expect to see something. When they ask for an ETA they aren't going like "IF YOU DON'T GET IT DONE IN 2 DAYS NOW, I'M GONNA KILL YOU." I'm pretty sure the person just wants to genuinely get a response and they won't argue no matter how long it takes.

But if I dunno how to fix it I can't give an eta. And I won't even guess. Because there will always be that one person that will get all pissy because something isn't fixed by the time it said it would. And I don't wanna deal with that so I will never give an eta unless I already know how to fix it.

On another note. The newest should have the phantom voicemail fix. So for those that were getting the gibberish text from unknown sender let me know if you get it anymore

dude.. relax... it was a little misunderstanding... me and johnny424 are cool now... i just dont want this thread going in the wrong direction.. stick to the topic...
 
Camcorder is working now and the video played just fine after a reboot of my phone. I hope the random reboot stops. This time around I'm not gonna chance the CPU speed nor the governance.
