Ok, Thanks. I guess I'll boot into Windows on my mac and install the drivers and stuff. I can't do it tonight though cause I have to read but I will definitely check it out ASAP and tell you guys how it is. At least I will be able to use his newer version of the instead of the current one!
 
I think its a good idea to try CM10.. Agrabren's CM9 already works fine enough for a daily driver.. If your going to spend time on something, it might as well be on something new...

Just remember for the s-off keep trying over and over again even if you think you're bricked (most people think they are when they are not) and don't stop till it says s-off

So true when I finally did it I was absolutely sure that 1 last time I didn't even have the points connected but like magic after about 20 tries it worked.

Also I thought the camera was working I know the preview is messed up but when I try to record video it doesn't work did I miss something?

**Hint: Check the downloads. There just might be a build in there from today.** I just installed it so I am not sure what all has changed, but it will help all of us if people install and help or point out bugs or issues that they may run into. I know that JMZ and myself have been working really hard on MMS. We have made progress since the first build. It was a group effort to get JMZ the phone, now lets make it a group effort to get it all working properly and relay information.
 
I posted a new build and its prolly the same as the one before it. The only diff is the apn shouldn't show up as null. The problem with mms is that the device isn't authenticating to the proxy correctly and is just ignoring any request from the device. If you ping the proxy from the device in a Rom with working mms it will respond. Try it in cm9 or any Rom with broken mms it won't respond. I have done everything I have thought so far. But I'm mulling around some ideas to figure out how its authenticating. But if anyone has any ideas of how it does so or anything beyond smali edit or apn change please speak up.
 
GoSMS is not bad, i could live with it as long mms works, i guess you gonna start working next on the camera broken preview?
 
Is anyone having problems with sending and recieving texts with this ROM? Ive uprgraded my pri radio and ive also swapped my PRL. Im getting less errors but i still get them every once in awhile. To stay on topic ive noticed that on this ROM you cant manually upgrade your PRL. That was my usual fix. Is there any other way to get around that. I would like to keep using this but the only other way ive found to fix the sending and receiving error was to reboot my phone. Any help or info would be much appreciated.
 
So the only big things not working now are MMS and 3D?

I've asked this before, but do you think it'll ever be possible to get 3D working (maybe in CM10)?

Iirc that's all now. In regards to 3d that is whole new territory for me. I can't really saw one way or the other. But I would say that it is the bottom of priority to me. Not saying I don't use 3d but other stuff is more important

I have no idea how it works, but if it was included with CM10 that would make it hands down the best ROM for this phone.

Anyway I'm installing this now that the camera preview is working. Nice work

I would agree with your priority list. To me, its all always basic phone functions first, then 3G data, followed by cameras. of course after that comes the real good stuff like hdmi, 4G, and then 3D. Thanks for all your efforts!
 
Hmm. The camera preview is still messed up for me.

SD Mounting doesn't work either; I know it's not on the list but I seem to recall a few people saying it worked for them.
