CheckROM Revolution HD now out!

Someone on this forum said that Kitchen is being updated daily. Since that post, it hasn't updated at all. Curse you jinxer! :P

Also, battery dropped 30% overnight. Didn't have much running (memory use was around 340mb). I've changed the Kitchen checking from 30mins to 24hrs now (since they don't update!).

Edit: Well, that changed nothing!
 
I can confirm after few days of using 3.1.1 that its superb. Battery indeed way better than on litening ! Fast, stable, and <3 battery icon in notification bar :)
 
i thought i'd give this rom a bash combined with siyah kernal.
aslo added an ICS theme and OC'd to 1.8ghz but doesnt seem to work well on my phone at all, facebook wont load and causes my phone to crash. tried several times by doing many wipes but still same issues.
any advice on this or anyone experiencing similar problems? not sure if its the OC thats causing problems but the kernal is supposed to be fine for that, just seems to be cerain apps dont run properly for some reason, cant trust the rom for daily use but when it works, it works really well.

i didnt want to ask on xda incase it had been answered 1000 times but with so many pages i cant read through them all

the kernal thread states this is fine, i never touched the voltages.
but even standard i get issues and i cant think where i'm going wrong, i have flashed various roms, many times so its nothing to do with inexperience

The kernel will allow 1.6GHz, but there's no guarantee that any particular CPU will be stable at that setting. Increasing the voltage might improve things, but if you're seeing the problems at stock clocks too then it could be that your CPU simply doesn't like this kernel.

Have you used a custom kernel previously? Try running the Ultimate Kernel Cleaning Script (a link to the relevant topic has been added to the Rooting Guide sticky) via recovery then reflash the Siyah kernel. This will clear out any residual settings from previous kernels and may cure the issues.

currently i am running cognition 777 rom with the ninpetamine kernal thats bundled with it as i previously used that kernal with no issues.
i have found this rom flawless but i wanted something new.
will check out the kernal cleaning script and see if that helps.
i tried checkrom a few times and each time its caused serious issues, first time i never done a full wipe and put it down to that, seemed to run great the second time but after 5mins i got screen freeze and SOD so tried again, and again with no avail
