Root CM10 progress Update Thread

When I flashed CM10 teester 11, I had issues with root apps. Superuser and SuperSU. SuperSU's binary couldn't be updated, and I couldn't switch to Superuser.

You cant have both when you go to update the binary in supersu it says theres another superuser already installed it says to if you want to delete the conflict hit yes. So you should hit yes because you cannot have both superuser and supersu

Ditto. This is what I did and it worked.

I noticed that my a bug in the GPS source when Bluetooth is on.

I did notice that after flashing tester 11 that the sound with headphones in was much quieter than stock when using apps like pandora and slacker radio. Even tried playing with dsp manager to see if it made a difference and it did not. Downloaded beats audio installer and tried that to see if it helped... same result. Other than that great RIM job

i cant even find where to toggle signature verification... this is frustrating... i need a guide

Okay... In CWM, tap on "install zip from sdcard". (If you're installing from the SD card). Now, you will have these options in front of you.

- choose zip from sdcard
- apply /sdcard/update.zip
- toggle signature verification
- ****Go Back****

Tap on "toggle signature verification", and then select your ZIP to install and hopefully the flash will this time be successful.

Oh see I've Been trying this whole time from recovery (Vol up + power)... I thought we weren't supposed to use ROM manager Cus it bricks our phones? Has it been fixed, or am I just using it to toggle sig verification
