Root CM10 progress Update Thread

Are there better overclocks?

You couldn't have been over clocked, you need a custom over clocked kernel which is still in progress.
 
just usage can cook some phones. especially while charging. i toasted a loaf of bread once just charging my phone while tethering. and i wasnt overclocked

Lmao your joking right? And yeah I remember on my admire tethering would make it so damn hot I had to use ice packs to cool it down, but I use easy tether for my avid and it barely gets hot
 
so cm10 has been my daily for a while its been working great great absolutely great till about the last hour... i went out came back i had no signal at all just grey bars, it wouldnt let me change the network mode, i would press something different and itd ignore me and stay on lte/cdma/evdo, i went to the 4g switcher to no avail so i restarted my phone, when it rebooted it froze at the startup screen and a popup saying process com.phone wasnt responding, my phone wouldnt respond to my touch, it wouldnt turn off, i pulled the battery out ad started my phone this time it ddnt freeze but it still said process phone wasnt responding. i clicked okay and itd pop up again about 2 seconds later, this continued till i navigated to mobile networks, then the popup stopped but i still have no signal, no 1x, no 3g, nothing, just the bars saying i should have signal but no internet connection... i had abou a 10 min convo on the phone before the first time i restarted my phone and i can still send txts so whats the problem? should i factory reset and reflash or what? havnt been much activity o this thread lately so hope someone can get back to me soon

sadly no. be careful where you charge your phone lol. i had it charging in the kitchen, someone sat a loaf of bread up against it, next day come to find that the bread is rather hard on that side. if you are ever really desperate you can use alot of smartphones as cooking surfaces

alright i wiped everything and reflashed, i have 4g back and my phone isnt bugging out on me... i still would like to know why that happened though if anyone knows
 
could have been a bad flash. that happens from time to time. also the network menus arent always accurate and at times do more harm than good. what it said was cdma/evdo/lte could have been something else entirely. could be many things really but nothing a good reflash and wipe cant fix as you can see

just glad to hear you got it worked out and sorry it took so long to get back to you im stuck with only a phone foe internet... i try to keep up tho. and i woulda just recommended that anyway lol
 
is video for browsers still not working? an for some reason i dont have the GPS app i have every other GAPP but not GPS. Also my microphone wont work for google now any fixes for these or are they still being fixed?
 
Haven't seen "The Great and Powerful Totlth" in over a week in this thread. Anyone know if development is still happening?
 
so does microphone an video still not work cause they arent working for me an im on the latest tester also i have every other GAPP except for gps any way to fix these?
 
I am still trying to work bugs and fix sdcard on 10.1, but I spilled a drink on my build pc and don't know the extent of the damage yet. Hopefully I'll have an alternate pc or fix for it soon
 
thanks guys i got those two things working but i cant find that video player that you said dadcup posted totlth all i found was a video recorder unless that's it
