Hroark I need your help. Where did you get the DTS files for your kernel? So I can rebuild the dt.iMG for over clocking?

there is a dts file in the tree

the dts file that gets generated with the kernel source does not work for some reason, so I used the stock dts file from the stock 444 kernel

Each Rom requires its own set of switchers. I do have a set made for CM12.1 RC5. You can get them from the link below. http://androidforums.com/threads/flashable-zips-for-system-r-w-updated-7-20-15.919330/ Also, what red letters are you talking about?

I did everything i was told to do. Everything works fine...exept for google now...i can open up the app fine but whenever i want to activate it with voice it doesnt work. i went to settings and clicked on voice and then clicked on ("ok google" detection) and then i clicked on (from any screen) and then on get started. it says on toast message...(Cant use microphone. restart your device). Then i restart my device and it still doesnt work. Please help me with this problem...besides that...great work

Fixed it...turns out I only needed to update Google app...sorry I didnt check earlier.

I'm talking about the red letters at bottom of post. Where it says something about write permissions.

thats just saying if u make changes that need r/w it will look like u did the changes but once u reboot the changes will not stick . thas if u use it w/o the switcher..

I used the gapps that you used(hroark13). I wanted to install a stock gapps after but it failed. It says to clean system partition. Is there any other way I can install a stock gapps without wiping the system partition?

My GPS Doesn't work...I go to my Google maps and my location is frozen even when I'm in plain road...idk how to fix... I'm gonna try to update app if there's an update... I'll try to keep you updated but idk if I can fix it...thx

I am running this ROM and its stable, but I dont seem to have root anymore. Rootchecker says no and busybox wont update saying no root. this is after flashing the switcher zip for this ROM in TWRP. Halp! I want to install Viper4Android and maybe Greenify in xposed.

The rom comes with things like root access and advanced reboot in the power menu disabled and you have to enable them in developer options. If you don't see developer options you need to go into about phone and tap on the build number 7 times.

Fixed it by flashing an SU zip in TWRP. I now have perm root it would seem. Don't know how I missed that step.

Hi- I'm not a techie-just a user of this rom. Rom is great really stable. Everything works EXCEPT there is really low volume when video cam is used. I have tried different video cam programs palyers and recorders-same thing.
I had a few videos that I shot before I installed this rom and they have nice loud volume.

Could any one please tell me what to try to fix this. Not be able to use the video is a big deal to me. So I want to fix it and preferably keep this rom.

I have a lot of problems with my GPS but it works sometimes, just takes awhile to get me in the right spot

ok so ive been using cm 12.1 on my zmax for about 2 weeks and i luv it.. i have a wierd issue my game plants vs zombies 2 will not install. not from a backup or even from the playh store. so when i try the playstore when i click istall its sopposed to be like 500 mb. but for some reason it sayhd 10mb and errors at 10.01. does anyone know how or even why this is happaning.

I disabled Lookout Security and have been tethering with WiFi Tether Router all day and it hasn't rebooted once. So far that's the only thing I changed and it seems to work.

Same goes for Bloons TD5, It installs on my tablet running the same android version but no on my phone.

It has to do with storage or memory. The funny thing is is I also have it on my tablet but it runs like shyt

I've been using the stock hotspot app and sometimes it will just reboot by itself . pretty aggravating when watching Netflix lol
