because for the best qud scores we max our processers and use the preformance gov. its helps a lot lol but between 1000 and 1200 is normal use
 
yeah i normally don't switch governers but with processor maxed i was getting 1100-1200 in quadrant, even got 40 MFLOPS in linpack which i consider good, although the score in smartbench was not so great. either way scores in any of the programs are just numbers and don't mean much for how your phone handles every day use. running nightly 8 currently and waiting till the end of the week when spring break starts to flash the newest build then.
 
anybody not getting gmail pushed to them?

also, how often are you guys getting forced restarts? is there anybody who doesn't get them at all?

I'm getting force-closes with LauncherPro... have for quite a while... don't know what the heck is going on with it. It's not a big deal though. Only FC's 1-time right after a reboot and then it's fine after that.
 
I just flashed #8 last night. So far I am absolutely loving this. Is there a consensus on the best kernal to use for battery performance?

was wondering the same thing. Also get the 1 FC of launcher pro on reboot, no idea why, has happened with every nightly i have used. Not a big deal though.

i herd that too and i herd the build build is failing at compiling the merger so there is some bugs that need to worked out on there end before it starts up again
 
Yeah if i manually refresh it its fine. Thinking gmails servers might be a little backed up or something and its just going a little slow
 
Yep, got 'er running right now. Flashed over #8.. rebooted... backed up...flashed Chad latest. A thing of beauty.

I'm sticking with stock for now. I have tried incredikernal and invisblek and got random reboots with each of them, constantly
 
is there a changelog or somewhere I can read about the changes with each nightly? how can you figure out if its worth backing up / updating?
 
With 2.3.3 can we still use the normal clear cache - clear dalvik and flash? Or do we need to do a factory reset? I'm still on #5.
 
My 3G won't stay OFF, even though I've unchecked Mobile Networks. This has been happening with #7 and #8. Very strange.

I hope the next nightlies fix that.
 
no problems with 8 here, will be downloading the latest nightly tomorrow, tonight starts spring break for me! happy week of flashing and exploring the new nightlies!
