Hey guys I just installed CM7 and so far I am loving it. Very snappy and smooth. My question is how do I update my PRL and PRI? I looked through the whole phone and checked CM7 forums but they do not seem to be very active. Any help would be great, what are some suggestions to try with this new ROM?

You would actually have to update both on a sense ROM. So you have to restore or flash a sense ROM update profile/prl, then flash back to CM7.

Its not actually all that bad, just do a nandroid of your current cm7 build, flash ANY sense rom, and then update what you need to update and nandroid back.

You don't even need to set up the sense ROM

As long as you did a nandroid back up of your last Sense Rom You should be able to just use that when a new Prl/Pri come out. That is the easiest and fastest way to update them. Go between the Nandroids only takes a few minutes to restore opposed to reflashing. Flashing is a process that takes time to set up the ROM the Way You want. Not convenient at all for updating.

Rxpert is correct you would skip the process if you just flash a new Sense Rom to only update the PRL/PRI However a Nandroid is much easier and faster IMO

Agreed but I hate restoring a rom that's 2 months old, let alone 2 weeks old;)

I'd rather flash a small sense rom, such tommytomatoes classy sense rom, update then restore the aosp rom. And to be honest the sense rom will be much smaller(200mb) if you store it on the sdcard than storing the nandroid(500-700mb)

The PRL has to be updated on Sense, but the PRI is flashed in recovery. But with that said, I would always update your profile after flashing a PRI anyway, so a Sense ROM is required to do that. But they're not the same thing.
