Wait, we can't flash this over bootloader 30.01? So that means that if we upgraded via sbf to 2.2 and couldnt get the bootloader to upgrade, then we're stuck?

Is there a way for those who used the sbf to go from the leak to OTA 2.2 to force the bootloader to update?

For anyone still on 2.3.15, did this update your bootloader as well? Cellzealot just posted this on MDW

"The full SBF file will update the kernel, baseband and system as well as the CDT but will NOT update the bootloader.

Only the update.zip installation we originally released will update the bootloader as well as the system and kernel, but NOT the baseband.

For most users the update.zip is the better option as this file was primarily intended to be a safeguard against the various problems users had with that method, as well as to recover those who may have bricked during installation.

You guys need to grab the update.zip from the TBH app. Especially now that we have the full SBF in case something goes wrong.

I also have a copy on my lappy but it would probably take forever to upload with my connection.:mad:

Did you do anything special? Right now I have Fission 2.1 Final installed, can I flash right over it, or should I flash 2.2 sbf first then 2.2.1 sbf?

I am overly excited right now and don't want to rush into anything and mess something up :D

I was already on the leak with the 30.04 boot loader. I flashed the SBF right over Rumm RX but I did a factory reset first , I always do.

Bootloader is the most important check. What is yours?

I held the volume keys and pushed the power button to put the phone in bootloader mode.......it says I have Bootloader 30.03.

You my friend, are good to go. Although I would recommend a factory reset before you flash. I always do just to be sure you start with a clean slate and don't hang at boot. Although a factory reset is not required by any means.

I downloaded it, but I'm drunk (figgen' Jamaican rum)...I'll figure out this confusing mess later. For now I stay with Froyo OTA, ApeX, and NexTheme. :p
 
downloaded on my phone and on the computer. double cover, now back to celebrating my birthday!! SHOTS!!! have a good weekend all
 
So, just for clarification and reassurance, to upgrade I need to apply the 2.3.32 update from TBH and this sbf is my parachute in case I screw something big time? I just don't want to take a dive into a pool with no water.

If you have the 30.01 Boot loader then YES. You can even use the update.zip and then SBF for the hell of it. It is imperative that you wipe data and mount system before applying that update.zip.

Anybody that is flashing that update.zip make sure you are following the instructions properly!
