Root condemned cm7

I'm sad to report that, tonight, both my wife and I ran into the GPS bug in Navigation, where, after several minutes of guidance, it suddenly thinks it's lost the signal and stops working properly.

Several minutes later, mine somehow lost its data feed when it shouldn't have (My wife still had hers working, sitting next to me in the car).

This is a bug I've seen resolved in other ROMS after being reported by several people but I can't remember what they were calling it.

In case it's relevant, I'm using the new gapps from the GSB site.
 
seriously,we are all under the impression that flash does not support the armv6 processor,and it would have to be totally re-written in order to work.

if you have somehow modified flash to run,you would be the hero of eris owners everywhere :D

what do we need to do? does it involve a ceremony with chicken heads,chanting,and a full moon?(ill try and stay out from behind the couch) :eek::p

Your gmail sync turned off again? That's strange, it shouldn't. I will see if I can find anything that would cause that. Thanks for letting me know that as well.

I would move it back to the phone and see if that helps then. It very well could be the culprit. I haven't had that issue with Gmail and haven't heard of anyone else having it either. Give it a shot and see if it fixes it. I'm looking into the GPS stuff now.

I just noticed that with the few things I removed from GRE this time... the androidian and cyan themes and a couple of other things... GRE V7 is a 63.56 MB download compared to the 73.02 MB of the stock V7 :eek: GRE is actually a smaller DL the the stripped version I was messing with lol

It has ADW as the stock launcher instead of LauncherPro but if you like LP better I've included the file in this rom to help with the lag alot of people are experiencing with LP. I'm not sure about a lot of other differences because I've personally not used GSB :eek: Not for any particular reason though... Just never got around to trying it. The other guys could tell you better if there are any other differences though :p

I actually don't like LP, i use Go launcher instead. will give the one in your rom a try shortly.
I still can't get my trackball working right, it goes wild when using my phone, and half the time won't work at all in recovery.

It's probably that. The SD card gets mounted late in the boot process and if the system process that manages syncing doesn't see gmail loaded it probably figures that you do not have it and turns off the sync.

Trackball problem is mechanical. I unplug the USB and it starts working. If i take the pressure off the USB cable, it works a little.
Still the going wild during use isn't, cause i rarely have it plugged in.
 
I'm having phone issues when I get calls. It rings once and then stops ringing. :confused: I answer it and the caller is there, just not more than one ring. Going to reboot and see what happens.
