does it use the same wallpaper as v7? wonderin if i flashed the wrong one,lol

yes it does lol. how's it working out? i haven't had a chance to flash it yet because i'm getting ready to test the fix for the issue receiving texts from at&t phones  lol. thought that was a little more important since shed was kind enough to fill me in on it while he's testing it too :)

awsome! tho im still not 100% sure i flashed the right one,lol...

whichever it is,its working fine. getting ready to test the lil splash screen i whipped up,so if it doesnt turn into a brick ill play with it some more and let ya know  ;)

yeah that text thing sounds a lil important! :p:D

I believe Gemro emailed the dev about it. Hopefully he responds. I'm trying a few things as well but so far I have to keep shutting it down manually. Have you tried GRE v7 yet BC? That's about 10 MB smaller than the stock version. Maybe that would help... I'm running the stock version with the framework, sytemui and keyboard from GRE pushed to it so mine is actually a little bigger than the stock v7 lol

I think its in the drop box

I did email the dev about it..and so did alot of others ..more the merrier.

A couple easy ways to tell.... what's it say in about phone? Is there more than just system in theme Chooser? Is dspmanager still there? s cm wallpapers still there? How many different ringtones are there? I could go on... lol

CS, I don't want to jinx it, but my problems with the phone freezing up and widgets freezing up seems to have gone away with v7. I haven't found it necessary to reboot my phone since I flashed v7. I don't know if it was something you changed or if an app was causing it and an update fixed the problem, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the way my phone functions now. Also, my battery life has been beastly the last few days. Thanks again for all the work you've done.

Here is my newest version of Condemned CM7. I've gone through and taken severl things out of the ROM trying to make it as light as I can and have managed to take it from 73 MB down to 56.3 MB. I removed alot of apps... stock Email, DSP Manager, Cyanbread and Androidian themes just to name a few. I've also removed a lot of ringtones and notification sounds. All of these things can be added back by pulling the apk from V7 and moved to system/app with root explorer or adb if you use one of the items I removed and if you want the ringtones back they can be added back easily as well. If necessary I can make a flashable zip to add things back as well or just use V7 since it's already there lol.

The only other difference between this and V7 besides being a lot lighter this version has the fix for receiving mms from AT&T phones. Thanks workshed for assisting me with finding this.

On a side note:
I will be going on a small hiatus starting this Friday. I have some personal medical issues that I have to address and I have to go away for a short time to get things under way. I thought I'd be telling you that today would be the start of it and I'd be completely silent for a week or 2 but received a call last night that I go on Friday. I was also informed that due to my situation and circumstances I'll be in a different part thankfully than I thought I would be in and I will be able to have my phone and laptop there but I will only be able to use them for an hour and a half a day I just don't know what that time frame will be. I will be able to get in here some to check on and answer any questions or try to address any issues. Thanks for your time and I'm glad that those of you using my ROM are enjoying it.

Hope everything goes well. I still have some lag but nothing that I can't deal with tho. Strip it even more if you can. The orange keyboard is cool. Many roms ago (I think it was white widow) there was a keyboard that had .com on it so I didn't have to spell it out. Do you know what keyboard that was?

I'll see what I can do. The orange keyboard was an accident. That's from GRE. The other keyboard maybe was the HTC ime keyboard? I have a zip in my xda op you can flash if you want to try it and see.

yeah i did the orange keyboarfd also. the only lag i get with it is when its been asleep for a long time(i got min speed set to 245 ) and still, for some reason when i long press a home screen to add a widget its several seconds for the widget menu to pop up. other wise its smooth and fast. slick as snot :D

sorry to hear about your issues,CS,im sure things will work out. and if not let me know ill come over there and give ya a swift kick in the shin :D

in all seriousness, thanks for the continuing great roms(i hope your next phone is a thunderbolt :p) and our thots are with you. :)

Hi..Please try this..Go to maps, menu, more, and clear the map tile cache and check the perfetch maps item right above it. This worked for me.
Let us know if it helps please.

I tried it again last night and had the same issue. Not sure what's causing it.
