yeah i went from kings gb to cm7 and i had to flash gapps file.
why the sad face
? it is just an extra step. not that hard to do. or are you getting lazy?

MIUI would be a bad choice for this example, I believe it has all the google stuff included (mine did). I wish the devs of aosp roms could included the google stuff... Come on Google, release the source code. (like Mr. Burns from the simpsons- release the hounds)

sadface from thinking that itd keep the gapps going from aosp to aosp.... it seems counterintuitive for that to occur since flashing a new cm7 version (which is more the same than different from flashing a diff aosp rom) just seems like itd stick. i dont care about having to flash another zip file, however i am lazy LoL

i just wish that things like rom manager and kernel manager actually worked so that it will take like a few seconds to go back and forth from rom to rom or kernel. but when it comes to my phone i want everything to go just right. so i guess we will have to at least for now flash things like the gapps file separately. lame!!!

Well it works ya just have to have a good understanding of what it's doing and it throws our new friends for a loop. Of course cw has it's issues so I use amon ra making it useless anyhow
