Root Constant Email force close

Had to flash a nandroid over the weekend and now my email shortcut gets constant force close message. Wiped cache/dalvik, no help. Any thoughts? Am I gonna have to reflash my rom? :mad:

Does it do it when you open the application from the application drawer?

Try clearing the app settings. menu>settings>applications>manage applications>Email app of choice>Clear data
You will have to re-signin to the email after but it should clear it up for you.

Hmmmm......There wasn't any data to clear, just force stop. Did that, no help.
 
wipe dalvik cache & cache and fix permissions

If that doesnt fix it wipe dalvik cache & cache & reflash ROM over itself.

You can also try re-restoring the nandroid. Or it may just be a bad nandroid. This happens.
 
I should only have to wipe cache/dalvik prior to a nandroid flash correct? That I did, so it looks like I will be re-flashing my rom tonight or a new rom!!

it does not hurt to wipe prior to restoring a nandroid backup, but it is not necessary. nandroid backups when being restore will wipe the automatically any ways.
 
Ok, reflashing the rom didn't fix my problem. I'm wondering if i should delete the account and re-synch it in the phone.
