Help Cracked screen :(

LOL. That's what i was thinking. I've torn my Ascend apart so many times I could do that shit blind folded. Nothing but screws and being very very careful with the circuit strips.
well the digitizer is glued in and requires heat to remove. A heatgun is the preferred tool but other means work ;)
Have a link to that digitizer? And what does it say on the screen? LG ,Verizon ,or MetroPCS? Is it a OEM part for the esteem or revolution? 34 is cheap. Lowest I have found is 56.
doesnt matter if its for the revo or esteem ;) I took one from an esteem n installed it into a revo n it works great ;)

So they work all the same do you have an extra screen for the esteem I can buy? I want an OEM esteem part and metro and lg do not seem to supply them and pretty much said I am out of luck. Lg told me around 120 and metro said no dice so if you have a screen that would be sweet. I was thinking on making a trip to Jacksonville FL and that is not too Far away. Let me know. Price too.

If not thanks anyway.

Anyone that has a bricked esteem for sale let me know. Just trying to go the cheapest route. And PG when cm9 is up and running expect a donation from me hope your power its back on and all is good.

The ones on the Ascend were glued in as well but came out with a little force. Is the Esteem "more" glued in to where you NEED a heat gun?

Well talked to a metro rep on the phone today and he told me insurance does cover the screen and that the deductible was 99 bucks and also said that some stores can repair them for a cheaper price than the insurance deductible. So I wanted to be sure and went into the metro corporate store here and the lady said it was all true besides them repairing it in store. She told me they do not repair phones at all so looks like I'm out 99 bucks but at least I get a new phone that I can read on and use. :p:call2::D

Good news for sure. Bad new is my leg is still pretty bad but does look a lot better than it did. So the healing is a slow go for sure lol. Guess its bad circulation in my legs would be my guess other than that I'm a fast healer. :p
