I submitted for a quote to two other companies, I'll see what this company says too.

a 3mm extender is not needed in this case(pun?), it'll touch the side on the spot against the case.yeah thats hard to work with, but I can make it larger on the back side of the hole so it maybe could come out the back. Sides would be hard because how much you would have to take out. a small 3-4mm jack extender would be perfect though to bring the connector just out to the hole.

It means that the L adapter will not come short with that case you created, I have a TPU case on right now and has a 2mm clearance. It is clear for at least 4-5mm without the case I have onI don't quite understand.
For abs plastic? Holy cow... What's the weight in solidworks if you change the material to abs plastic?

Just a heads up milling this is quite unrealistic on a 3 axis mill. (inside corners along with the top side going over the front of the phone and holes for ports and buttons) i'll look into printing a sand mold.
the idea for this is awesome. i love everything about it.
i had an idea of building the triumph body (front and back plastic shells that hold motherboard and everything else) bring THAT part into the cad program, and have it milled or cnc out of alluminum, and just rebuild the phone with a sturdy body instead of adding a case to a flimsy body.
oh well, just an idea.
hey if this ever gets to some sort of reality ill put money in, looks beefy, like the aluminum covers I put on my drag racing motorcycle engines.
I don't want to be a debbie downer, but would the aluminum interfere with wireless signal? cell, wifi, bt, gps. Would anyone happen to know?
Btw I contacted a mod about this and nothing. Who should I contact? This multipost thing is ******ed.
I guess I was the second one that you contacted... but let me know what needs changed and I'll take care of it for you.
The case looks great BTW!!! Here's to hoping you can get it made (for a lot cheaper than 144).
I want to add photos to the OP. Can I have rights to edit my own post? Why can't you edit on probation?
