I installed it and now it says I have NO root access??? Now what?

What says you don't have root access? What does it say when you try to update clockworkmod recovery in ROM Manager?

Installed fine on mine. Gives you the nice "ninja" SuperUser Icon and when you click on it , gives you a list of applications you have granted access too. I like it. Was user the version that came in Jagers ROM with the ugly blue pound sign...

All root programs are telling me so. Nand restore time? Also, superuser told me version 2.2.2 suvnull.

I would try installing It again. Possibly a bad install but if you truly lost root.... you could try restoring your backup but you may find yourself having to reboot.

Are you positive you lost root? Try going to Settings > Applications > [menu button] > filter > all > superuser and clear the data/cache.

That's really freaking weird. Manually boot to recovery and perform a nandroid restore.

This ROM is great!!! I use it all day at work and then switch back to jager1.7.3 for home because i use the camera, gps, and bluetooth (dont want any tickets).

I have only noticed i issue. I use Audible for audio books, when i plug the headset in, the volume spikes and then all my notification sounds start playing on repeat. I tried uninstalling audible thinking it was the cause but the issue still occurs.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!! There is really great potential with this ROM and look forward to updates. Thanks again to all the devs!!

I lost root updating to Superuser 2.2.2 ef as well. Luckily I made a nandroid backup right before it installed.

Don't update Superuser to 2.2.2. I saw something over in the XDA forums that it wasn't working for the Incredible (and the above comments seem to confirm this).

I actually asked the same question over on XDA, and the response I got was that you don't HAVE to wipe, but it's highly recommended that you do.

Sounds like that's the case with updating any ROM to a newer version of the same ROM.

Its pretty stable for me so I wanted to stick with it until we get a real OTA but the keyboard sucks!

You do not lose root. There is a problem with the new update. Just revert back to the old su file and wait till they get the problem fixed. many people have been having this trouble.

No, it doesn't work for me either. I gave a logcat I did while it was fc-ing to soomeone over on irc to look at. hopefully he'll be able to figure it out so we can get this working. if i find anything out i'll update
