Root Cyanogen Mod 6 (Froyo) Released!!

Weird that it seems like everyone is having issues with battery life... I have setcpu set to underclock at around 850 mhz, like I do with any rom, and it seems to be better on battery than my skyraider was.

Also no lockups or reboots either. Course I am running the 2.15 radio and s-off, and flashed via rom manager, maybe all of those things will help it to be more stable for you guys?

I did all the same things except the underclock. I was running it at 998mhz at full charge, and then slowly down to 750mhz . I also had it way underclocked when the screen was off.

I don't think my battery was bad, but it just wasn't as good as other roms with an undervolted kernal. Before I installed a undervolted kernal I'd say my battery life was probably slightly worse then CM6. Personally I think CM6 has the potential to be the best ROM for the Incredible it just has some minor bugs that need to be worked out
 
I really would love to try this ROM but I am gonna hold out a bit longer. Based on the reports on the Cyanogen forums there seems to be a lot of people having issues with this particular release. But I noticed Cyanogen made it to Slashdot today... kudos to them!
 
Just had my first problems today. I looked at my phone and it was off, nothing would turn it on except for a bat pull. Then after i got in on about a half hour later it rebooted itself.

I was fine for a few days... haven't installed anything new either.

Ok, now I'm back in. And I know what did it too...my bluetooth headset just went through the wash. Of course it's gonna be fixed tonight. Lol.

I'm having the same problem now and then. Just off. Won't turn on until I do a battery pull.
 
SO 6.0.2 is out in the ROM Manager now. Are the fixes included in this release? Has anybody flashed it yet? Downloading now anyways...

Bluetooth audio streaming works, the internal memory sees my music and photos. Haven't got to test the LED's though. And my WiFi can connect finally! (Wasn't an issue for anyone but me it seems like)
 
internal memory was the deal breaker for me... flashing .2 now to see how I like it... the camera app kinda sucks too or is it just me?
 
Just flashed from ROM Mangaer I'll test it out and report back tomorrow.

I came from Ruby no BT audio equals no go for this guy. Hopefully CM6.02 works as reported
 
BT audio is not quite perfect. I had several pauses in different songs in my car. Also there's a fc for the mail app, when not even using it.
 
it wasn't cm 6.0.2 the skin I had from 6.0.1 doe'snt work correctly for .2... guess I'll have to wait for a new UI to install
 
It took me a couple tries to get .2 to install. But wow. I was running 6.0.1 and was fairly happy with it. I had occasional odd behavior. Since the new update everything runs so much smoother. I'm hoping this will be the last ROM I will ever need. But then again, I have ADD with this phone and will switch it up I'm sure.

Edit Ok I may have been to quick to judge. The phone is just sitting on my desk doing nothing and its rebooted on me twice so far this morning. Now I gotta figure out why.
