i dont want anyone to take it the wrong way. but hroark is banned, wouldnt that mean by all rights his work being posted here is banned? if thats the case i would imagine you guys would have to go to that forum to discuss this not here. im going to report my post to hopefully get a mod to chime in and clear up some confusion.

I am absolutely positive ANY of the mods can attest to my dislike towards ABC. however they are banned and so isnt their work so it would be quite a double standard to have it any other way...

ABC was banned with good cause and their stuff caused grief, it's been taken down.

They are not welcome to start it up all over again.

Anyways, back to business gents. The new alpha with working WiFi is amazing so far, I'm still having issues with WiFi connecting to a network for the first time. It hits the ISP check for a moment before turning off WiFi, when I turn WiFi back on it connects like it was never turned off in the first place.

The wifi seems to have a longer range than the stock ROM does, it's great! Anyone find what he changed to get it fixing yet? I am working on downloading the sources so if everything else isn't fixed by then, I'll grab our device tree and compile, hopefully everything will work fine then.

That was done already and didnt work cuz kernel youll need to do a lot of mofifications to the kernel and rom to get it to boot

I will just replace that with the one we have that works, unless the fixes I need are in that kernel, which I doubt since hroak fixed the wifi without building from source.

If you use the stock kernel which thats the one you gonna have to use you gonna have to mod it a lot to make cm boot

I am rooted, I have the lg recovery app to flash zips and stuff, i need to know what cm10 is working and how to apply the cm10 to my lg motion

This version of CM10 does not have calling, texting, WiFi, or bluetooth. If you still want it, then it is the mirror link in the first post. If you don't see it, then get it here: http://www.filedropper.com/lgmcm10pre-alpha

Simply reboot recovery from the app, once it boots up press volume up and volume down a few times to get into clockworkmod. Once there, using volume up and down to move around, and power to select, go to install from SD card and find where you put it on your internal SD card. If you put it on your external SD card, then press home to switch to external SD card.

Mind sharing a completed device tree? I haven't had time to complete the one I was working on and now I need to reinstall Ubuntu to a version I previously worked with and did not encounter so many errors with.
