I just rebooted my computer, I'll try rebooting the phone now.

Update: Still not found...

Update: Oh, I think I missed a step.

Update: I right clicked "Install" on the android_usb.inf but nothing happened. Is this supposed to happen?

Update: After installing android_usb.inf, it says "Device is ready to use". Before, it said "Error" so it might work now.

Update: This is starting to annoy me :mad:. Does anything happen when you install android_usb.inf? I'll try rebooting another time.

Update: A bunch of things just popped up on my computer after I rebooted the phone. I think it might work now.

Hmm, I'm really not sure on what else to try... Anyone got suggestions? Maybe you could find a friend with a Windows 7 PC that you could borrow for 15 mins to complete the update?

If it's Windows 7 then no, just do the KDZ updater, the parser thing is the only thing, but it's a small program and they won't even know it's there. It'd be quicker if you used the auto exe too :)
 
I think there could be something wrong with the driver. I flashed some stuff before and had the same problem but managed to fix it somehow but now I can't do it anymore. Can I try changing the PhoneMode or Type?

I guess you could do a system restore to before you installed the driver, then do the update.

Not sure, I don't have an XP computer.. I got that driver from another post of a person who said it worked. I'd recommend doing the system restore to before the driver install. I think that'll work.
