The original post made by hroark links to a file that is downloadable and when flashed in cwm does not show any errors but after flashing and rebooting phone the os does not actually boot but instead hangs at the android screen I have already expressed this in an earlier post ...I understand hroark is busy and has also stated he is moving on from dev work for prevail but its as simple as repasting a link.I believe the boot.img may be corrupt..when I had this problem earlier I opened the boot file in win zip and it stated the img was in fact corrupt. I've tried taking the file provided in op and the later file from post page 41 or so and combining them but can't seem to get it right.I'm no dev, but I also am not a noob. I know I've covered all of my bases and there's something wrong here beyond an error on my part. Any help would be appreciated

Here's a copy of Hroarks CM7 Beta-5 for the people that are having trouble getting it to download from the OP. I know this works because I just installed it the other day. If it doesn't work on your phone ... it's not the file.

Go to Menu> settings> about phone> Android version.
if it is 2.2.2 that is the problem. This only works on 2.3.x
I just re-dl'd and flashed it with no issues.
If you're on 2.2.2 just Odin the ej06 or fa19 package.
Or Perhaps your dl is corrupt (if your on 2.3.x) try to re download it.

Thank you for this man. looks very nice and free is awesome! I only have one question. How did you get the Cyanora? I looked through the list of available widgets and don't see that one. Maybe it was removed.

Update Never mind wet i found one i am really happy with.

boot.img can not be opened like a regular zip file. the problem is most likely with your cwm.
 
t cwm i refered to was already on 5.0.2.6 which is only one version different from the latest and I got it from this forum but I will update and never had he problems with the cwm aspect of it.and I don't doubt that u know much more about boot. Img files than I, but I specifically remember that although I could not read the hexadecimal of the boot im g I refferred to win zip could and pronounced it unfit. I remember because I also pulled the boot img from beta 4 and poked around inside of it and it threw no error.....like I said I'm not doubting you guys or the collective being more knowledgeable than I so I will just download new cwm and reflash beta 5.

@lordvincent I was actually coming from android version 4.0.3 which I'd gotten from Johnny. He had a cwm restore version posted which looked pretty sweet, but alas it was an alpha :( so I decided to revert back and my phone has never been on anything other than the ejo6 baseband. As far as downloading the file I've been using my transformer tf101 which is actually running cm9 4.0.4 megatron 1.0.4(freaking awesome :D )
