Nope just did 3 times I'm on gingerbread baseband with ur mod cm7 and 3.5 HF 1 no 3g scripts nothing just socail apps and file explora apps plus Pandora


*update* ok my bad hroak me and my bad eye site I just seen it I'm useung the green theme so 3g and 1x are hard to see
 
I like going on espn.com and watch videos. When I go now I could hear the audio but video isn't showing. I guess it's off sync. At least I heard them say Barry Bonds got probation. Help Please.

Boost probably doesnt want people calling and complaing that they are not getting 3g, so they probably show 1xRTT as 3G

I am playing a video from their site, I am on a fresh install, with hotfix 1



what programs have you installed

just went on espn and tested multiple videos. video is showing and audio is in sync with headphones on & off

headphone redirect works now, GPS locks really fast and toggle GPS from NPWidget works perfectly now, havent looked into the mount script yet, Market still dosent see missing apps. eg. weatherbug, beweather, currents, capital one...

I was trying things editing my build.prop to see if I could get some results so I was thinking maybe some things might be missing from it now so I'm gonna to start fresh and see what turns up. I'll post back with results

EDIT: Yes!!! that did it!! installed my Capital one app(was missing as well), Weather Bug. I dont use currents but I can see it now as well as beweather.
Market Issue fixed!!

Music sounds better from headset and phone speaker. sounds a lot more like stock sound. much more crisp and less distorted like in previous versions. No more redirection problems either.

I noticed the media scanner runs faster now from boot. Is that the mount script you mentioned?

What I did:
rebooted in CWM
formatted system
formatted data
formatted cashe
formatted sdext( I use link2sd)
flashed CM7
rebooted into CM7 untill it finished completely
rebooted into CWM
flashed hotfix
rebooted system and I was good

It is a script to mount sd-ext

Whenever I a run a compile it automatically puts the file in the etc/init.d folder, but the one it puts there is not right for our system, I usually forget about this file

The ROM package formats system data and cache, the hot fix package does not

You should do it like this in the future

rebooted in CWM
flashed CM7 ROM
flashed CM7 Hot fix (latest for the beta version)
format sd-ext (optional)
rebooted system
 
My stock alarm doesn't work. I also downloaded alarm clock xtreme from the market and it doesn't work either. I can open both and set the alarm, but it's like I dont.

Yea but theses are new files as u can read the audio route was hell to fix this is why we beta test if u don't like to test then I suggest ctmod 2.3

@hroak I forgot to post this earlyer but mms was fine for me I didn't have to use the temp fix also under the phone there is a folder named sys I never seen it b4 did u put that inthere?

Sys has always been there. Its part of android

you have to do a fix permissions in the CWM advanced menu right after install, this takes a little while, be patient

this fix uses the original apn config from ee14
It uses a new framework.res.apk sorry lMonsterl but it seems removing that Roaming Indicator also makes the network to be shown as unknown, so I created a new framework.res.apk that show as Boost Mobile
made a few prop changes regarding Operator name and numeric

SMS sending / receving works both on 3G and Wifi
MMS sending works on 3G

Please test and post your results

Open voice dialer and say OPEN A P NS

Testing now... and what does SMS over wifi mean for us pratcially? Texting even in airplane mode?

sounds good. i never ran across that problem before. used the same technique on all other builds.
 
Hot fix 2 does display boost mobile a carrier... But it gives me the same 3 fc's at boot... Pandora, Amazon market, and titanium... Nothing major (and probably causes by permission fix)... wiping cache didn't help... Will see if reinstalling these apps does...

As I'm typing this I have noticed that my home button is broken and setttings wont stick...

EDIT: ended up doing a factory reset... hotfix seemed to stick
